Brian Howe is an American actor. He is best known for his portrayal of stockbroker Jay Twistle in the film The Pursuit of Happyness . [1] [2]
His other films include K-PAX , The Majestic , Catch Me If You Can , RV , Déjà Vu , Return to Me , Evan Almighty , Gran Torino (as Steve Kowalski) and Annabelle . Howe has appeared in guest roles in a number of television series, including Crossing Jordan , Criminal Minds , Judging Amy , Law & Order , The Unit , Without a Trace , Boston Legal , The Shield , Lie to Me , Charmed , and was a regular on Journeyman as the newspaper editor until the cancellation of the show by NBC in December 2007 due to low ratings. More recently, he has had recurring roles on Nikita , Justified and Westworld . In 2021, he had a main role in Kevin Can F**k Himself as Peter McRoberts.
Howe is part of the stock company formed by filmmaker Larry Blamire, and has played Dr. Roger Fleming, the evil scientist who awakens the skeleton, in the 2004 science-fiction spoof The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra , his twin brother Peter Fleming in its sequel, The Lost Skeleton Returns Again , the dim but heroic sailor Big Dan Frater in Trail of the Screaming Forehead, and the foppish Englishman Burling Famish Jr. in Dark and Stormy Night .

House on Haunted Hill is a 1959 American supernatural horror film produced and directed by William Castle, written by Robb White and starring Vincent Price, Carol Ohmart, Richard Long, Alan Marshal, Carolyn Craig and Elisha Cook Jr. Price plays an eccentric millionaire, Frederick Loren, who, along with his wife Annabelle, has invited five people to the house for a "haunted house" party. Whoever stays in the house for one night will earn $10,000. As the night progresses, the guests are trapped within the house with an assortment of terrors. This film is perhaps best known for its promotional gimmick Emergo.
The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra is a 2001 American independent science-fiction parody film directed by Larry Blamire. The film is a spoof of B movies released during the 1950s. The film was videotaped on a budget of less than US$100,000, and was converted to black-and-white film in post-production. Larry Blamire acted in and directed the film, wrote its screenplay, and provided the voice of the film's titular Skeleton. Jennifer Blaire, who performs Animala, is Blamire's wife.

The Nun is a 2018 American gothic supernatural horror film directed by Corin Hardy and written by Gary Dauberman, from a story by Dauberman and James Wan. It serves as a spiritual spin-off to The Conjuring 2 and is the fifth installment in The Conjuring shared universe. The film stars Taissa Farmiga, Demián Bichir and Jonas Bloquet, with Bonnie Aarons reprising her role as the Demon Nun, an incarnation of Valak, from The Conjuring 2. The plot follows a Roman Catholic priest and a nun in her novitiate as they uncover an unholy secret in 1952 Romania. It is followed by a sequel The Nun II, released in 2023.
