Brian Craig Lee (born August 2, 1950) is a Canadian entrepreneur and former politician. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Custom Learning Systems, a specialized consulting firm. Lee founded the company over 25 years ago.
After his early experience in business as Vice President & General Manager of a chain of retail furniture stores, Lee turned to local politics and became the youngest [1] Alderman ever elected in Calgary at the time. He served two terms as Calgary Alderman and then stepped up to provincial politics after being elected as a Member of the Alberta Legislature, for the constituency of Calgary-Buffalo.
Elected to Calgary City Council in 1977, Lee, at the time, was the youngest person to hold Aldermanic office. He served on numerous municipal committees, like Finance & Budget, Calgary Convention Centre Authority, Calgary Police Commission, Alberta Urban Municipalities Association, Calgary Housing Committee and others.
In 1982, he was elected the Conservative Member of the Provincial Legislature representing the riding of Calgary-Buffalo. Again active on numerous governmental committees, Lee's focus while in Provincial politics included: civic affairs, urban transportation, senior citizens' affairs, human rights and multicultural affairs. He was defeated in the 1986 Alberta general election and returned to private life.
Lee continues to operate Custom Learning Systems, [2] the business he founded more than 25 years ago. During that time, he authored several books. [3]
Recently, he created a think tank named Calgary Leadership Forum. [4]
Brian Lee has been involved with numerous organizations and has long-time affiliations with Junior Achievement, Toastmasters [5] and the Canadian Association of Public Speakers. [6]

Leonard Barry Pashak was a Canadian college instructor and politician. Previously, he was a Conservative Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Calgary-Foothills from 2004 to 2014, serving cabinet portfolios of Minister of International & Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of Aboriginal Relations.
Joseph Anthony Ceci is a Canadian, Albertan, politician who was elected in the 2019 Alberta general election to represent the electoral district of Calgary-Buffalo in the 30th Alberta Legislature. He was previously elected in 2015 to represent Calgary-Fort in the 29th Legislature. He is a member of the Alberta New Democratic Party. Prior to holding provincial office, Ceci served as an alderman on the Calgary City Council, representing Ward 9 from 1995 to 2010.
David Anthony Rodney is a Canadian politician and was a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta representing the constituency of Calgary-Lougheed, first as a Progressive Conservative and then the United Conservative Party when it was formed in July 2017 by the merger of the PC Party merged with the Wildrose Party. He was first elected in the 2004 provincial election and re-elected three times. He resigned on November 1, 2017, in order to open a seat for new United Conservative Party leader Jason Kenney. He was the first Canadian to ascend to the summit of Mount Everest twice.
Robert William Renner is a Canadian politician and was a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for the constituency of Medicine Hat as a Progressive Conservative.
Kent Hehr is a Canadian politician from Alberta. He served as the Liberal Member of Parliament for the riding of Calgary Centre from 2015 to 2019. Hehr was named Minister of Veterans Affairs in the federal Cabinet, headed by Justin Trudeau, on November 4, 2015, and was shuffled to be Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities in August 2017. Hehr resigned from cabinet on January 25, 2018, after allegations of workplace misconduct surfaced from when he was the Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for Calgary-Buffalo.
Eric Charles Musgreave was a politician from Alberta, Canada. He served as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta from 1975 to 1989 sitting with the governing Progressive Conservative caucus and as an Alderman on Calgary City Council from 1967 to 1974.

The 2015 Alberta general election was held on May 5, 2015, following a request of Premier Jim Prentice to the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Donald Ethell to dissolve the Legislative Assembly on April 7, 2015. This election elected members to the 29th Alberta Legislature. It was only the fourth time in provincial history that saw a change of government, and was the last provincial election for both the Alberta Progressive Conservative and Wildrose Parties, which would merge in 2017 to form the United Conservative Party.
