Brian Wozniak is a former American football tight end who played at Wisconsin. [1] Wozniak is currently the tight ends coach at Michigan State. [2] age 32

Playing career

Wozniak graduated from Loveland High School in Loveland, Ohio where he played at tight end and linebacker. As a senior, Wozniak was named second-team All-Ohio and first-team all-conference. After high school, Wozniak joined the Wisconsin program where he played tight end from 2009-2014 winning three Big Ten Championships. [3] Wozniak was named a team captain as a senior. Following graduation, Wozniak signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent. [4] [5]

Coaching career

After a brief stint with the Atlanta Falcons, Wozniak joined the Oregon State coaching staff as a graduate assistant. [6] Wozniak was promoted to offensive analyst in December 2017. Wozniak was elevated to tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator in July 2018. [7] In November 2023, Wozniak joined the Michigan State staff as tight ends coach. [8]

Middeton played professionally as a tight end for the Atlanta Falcons and the Washington Redskins of the NFL. He played college football for the Auburn Tigers. He played on the Escambia County High School "Blue" Devils football team in Atmore, Alabama. Middeton has coached for Troy Trojans, the Ole Miss Rebels, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Douglas Walter Marsh is a former professional American football player who played tight end for seven seasons for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1980 to 1986. He also played college football at the University of Michigan from 1976 to 1979. He was selected as a first-team All-Big Ten Conference tight end at the end of the 1979 season.

In their 13th season under head coach Bo Schembechler, the Wolverines compiled a 9–3 record and outscored all opponents by a total of 355 to 162. Ranked No. 1 by both the AP and UPI in the preseason polls, Michigan lost to Wisconsin in its season opener, then defeated No. 1 Notre Dame the following week, and ended its season with a victory over UCLA in the Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl. The Wolverines were ranked No. 10 in the final UPI poll and No. 12 in the AP Poll.

Brian Ferentz is an American football coach and former player. Following his collegiate career at the University of Iowa, as an offensive lineman, Ferentz was in the NFL for the Atlanta Falcons in 2006 and New Orleans Saints in 2007. Following his playing career, Ferentz began a coaching tenure. Ferentz coached in the NFL for the New England Patriots from 2008 to 2011. Serving as the tight ends coach for the Patriots in 2011, Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski set NFL records for receptions, yards, and touchdowns by tight ends, and Gronkowski became the first tight end in NFL history to lead the league in touchdown receptions. Ferentz then began a coaching tenure at Iowa in 2012.
