Brisbane Catholic Education is the educational Vicariate of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane, Queensland.
The institution now known as Brisbane Catholic Education had its seed in the first Catholic school in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane, started by Mary and Michael Bourke in Elizabeth Street, Brisbane in 1845.
Schools were often independently set up by Parish priests within their own parishes, sometimes by religious institutes, either at the request of the Archbishops or the local parish priests or sometimes independently under the charism of the religious institute.
Brisbane Catholic Education has been providing Christian education in a Catholic tradition for over 150 years. There are 139 schools in the Brisbane Catholic Education community. The most recently opened was St Clare's Primary School, Yarrabilba. [1]

It is one of four suffragan dioceses of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Indianapolis. Its ecclesiastic territory includes Lake, Porter, LaPorte, and Starke counties in northwestern Indiana. The mother church of the diocese is the Cathedral of the Holy Angels in Gary, Indiana.
The Diocese of Talibon is one of the 72 ecclesiastical territories called dioceses of the Roman Catholic Church in the Philippines. It is one of two dioceses in the province of Bohol and part of the ecclesiastical province of the Archdiocese of Cebu. It was created on January 9, 1986, separating half the civil province of Bohol from the Diocese of Tagbilaran. It comprises the northeastern municipalities of Bohol, consisting of coastal municipalities starting from Inabanga in the northwest to Jagna in the southeast and interior municipalities bounded by Carmen and Sierra Bullones. Christopher Charles Prowse is an Australian Roman Catholic bishop. He is currently the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Canberra – Goulburn; appointed to the post on 12 September 2013 and installed as Archbishop on 19 November 2013. On 12 September 2016 Prowse was named as Apostolic Administrator of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Wagga Wagga following the retirement of Bishop Gerard Hanna. On 26 May 2020 Pope Francis announced Mark Stuart Edwards would become the sixth Bishop of Wagga Wagga, however Prowse would Apostolic Administrator until Bishop Edwards' installation on 22 July 2020.
