A chamber of commerce, or board of trade, is a form of business network, for example, a local organization of businesses whose goal is to further the interests of businesses. Business owners in towns and cities form these local societies to advocate on behalf of the business community. Local businesses are members, and they elect a board of directors or executive council to set policy for the chamber. The board or council then hires a President, CEO, or Executive Director, plus staffing appropriate to size, to run the organization.
Mart Laar is an Estonian politician and historian. He served as the Prime Minister of Estonia from 1992 to 1994 and from 1999 to 2002. Laar is credited with having helped bring about Estonia's rapid economic development during the 1990s. He is a member of the centre-right Isamaa party.
Nashi was a political youth movement in Russia, which declared itself to be a democratic, anti-fascist, anti-"oligarchic-capitalist" movement. Senior figures in the Russian Presidential administration encouraged the formation of the group, which Moises Naim labelled a government organized non-governmental organization (GONGO). By late 2007, it had grown in size to some 120,000 members aged between 17 and 25. On April 6, 2012, the Nashi leader announced that the current form of the movement would dissolve in the near future, possibly to be replaced by a different organisation. He stated that Nashi had been "compromised" during the 2012 Russian presidential election.

The Latvian-British Chamber of Commerce is an independent institution, NGO, and social enterprise based in Bristol, South West, UK. It was first established in 2010. The mission of the Latvian-British Chamber of Commerce is to "encourage, promote and foster business interests and commercial relations between Latvia and the UK within the core fields of technology, innovation and start-ups."
Indian Economic Trade Organization (IETO) is an Indian non-governmental trade association and advocacy group. It supports the countries to bolster industry support for stronger participation in the multilateral trade negotiations process.
