Broken Head (also styled as Brokenhead) is a dub band from Brisbane, Queensland, which was formed after a six-hour jam session in 1996 by Regurgitator's Ben Ely on bass guitar, Skritch from Gota Cola on drums and Guy Webster on guitar. [1] [2] [3] [4]

The group issued their debut album, Locarno, on 1 September 2000 via Valve Records/East West as a single CD and also as an extended edition including a bonus disc, Remember to Breathe, of live material. [5] It was co-produced by Ely, Skritch and Webster with Magoo (Regurgitator).

Soon after the group was put "on ice for most of the last few years while the individual members pursued other projects" until November 2006. [2] Webster explained, "It was something we always understood with this band, that there will be times when it will have to be more infrequent. We always agreed, this is a band that we're going to be playing in for the rest of our lives, so we’ll always be around." [2]

Livid was an Australian alternative rock music festival held annually from 1989 to 2003. Created by Peter Walsh and Natalie Jeremijenko, the original idea of showcasing both the arts (Natalie) and music (Peter) in the one event was standardised as late as October/early November from 1991 until 2003. While it has never been officially cancelled, no festivals have been held since 2003 and neither the organisers or promoters have announced any intention to restart Livid in the future.

Unit is the second studio album by Australian rock band Regurgitator, released in November 1997. Its style is a mixture of 1980s style synthesised pop music and alternative rock, with some hip hop influences. The album debuted and peaked at number 4 on the ARIA Charts. At the ARIA Music Awards of 1998, the album won five ARIA Music Awards; including ARIA Award for Album of the Year.

Guy Webster is a Brisbane singer/songwriter. He is a member of Broken Head, The Informants and Guy Webster and Friends and released his solo self-titled debut EP in 2002. To promote the EP he went on a national tour with George. In 2003, Webster worked with poet Doug Thomson to release an EP, Seahorse.

Gota Cola is a three piece band from Brisbane, Queensland made up of Tylea, Lexie and Skritch. In 1998 Gota Cola released a self-titled EP through Valve. Their debut album, Guaranteed Rustless, was produced by Magoo and was released in 2001.

Tylea is an Australian singer and songwriter. She started out as a solo performer, releasing the EPs Bellowing Flower (1994) and Tylea with a T in 1997, and went on to become the singer and guitarist for Gota Cola. After Gota Cola took a break she released a self-titled EP in 2003 with Tylea and the Imaginary Music Score, a band featuring Magoo and Marcel Lip. Her 2005 debut solo album Colour Your Insecurities was a double album with two CDs of Light and Dark songs.

Skritch is an Australian musician. He sings, plays drums, guitar, bass and keyboards and has been a member of The Long Johns, Gota Cola, Broken Head, Mary Trembles, Tex Perkins' Dark Horses, SKAM Artist and Ranger.

Mary Trembles is an Australian rock band from Brisbane, Queensland formed by Damon Cox and Skritch in Los Angeles in 2005. Returning to Brisbane they recruited Duey Coert to complete the line-up. The first track, "Scene From Below", from their 2006 mini album ps...situation was on high rotation on Triple J and the band was a Triple J Next Crop artist in November 2006. Matt Tanner replaced Coert and the band followed the ep up with a full length album Borrowed Ears, Borrowed Eyes, recorded by Jeff Lovejoy and mixed by Mike Major.

The Stalkers are a rock band from Australia. They formed in April 2002 when Regurgitator was taking a break.

Sekiden were an Australian three-piece pop band formed in Brisbane, Queensland in 1998 by Simon Graydon on lead guitar and vocals, Mirko Vogel on drums and his sister Seja on keyboards and lead vocals. They released two studio albums, Junior Fiction (2003) and Sound Instincts (2006), before disbanding in the following year. Seja Vogel was a touring member of Regurgitator from 2007 to 2009 and then worked as a solo artist to issue two albums, We Have Secrets But Nobody Cares (2010) and All Our Wires (2013).

Dirty Pop Fantasy is the eighth studio album by Australian alternative rock band Regurgitator. The album was first streamed on 23 August 2013 on the music streaming website Deezer and officially released on 6 September 2013 on the record label Valve Records. Regurgitator toured from September to December 2013.
