Brooke Serene Butler is an American actress.

Early life

Butler was born in Woodinville, Washington. She has been performing on stage and screen since childhood. [1] She has a bachelor's degree at the USC School of Dramatic Arts. [2]

Career

Butler was cast as zombie cheerleader Tracy Bingham in the 2013 American comedy/horror film, All Cheerleaders Die which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. [3] [4] In 2015, Butler played the starring role Kaylee in feature film The Sand . [5] Butler also played starring role of Isabel Fletcher in feature film Online Abduction. [6] [7] Butler played the young Darlene Snell in a 2018 episode of the Netflix series Ozark . [8] [9] In 2018, Butler played the role of Julie Guilford in an episode of the TV series The Resident .

In 2012, Butler was featured on the cover of Swoop magazine. [10] In 2015, Butler was named to Maxim magazine's "Hot 10" Actresses to Watch. [11]

All Cheerleaders Die is a 2013 American horror comedy film written and directed by Lucky McKee and Chris Sivertson. It is a remake of their 2001 film of the same name that was also written and directed by McKee and Sivertson, and stars Caitlin Stasey as a cheerleader who must fight against the supernatural. The film had its world premiere on September 5, 2013, at the Toronto International Film Festival and had a limited theatrical release in June 2014.

Ozark is an American crime drama television series created by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams for Netflix and produced by MRC Television and Aggregate Films. The series stars Jason Bateman and Laura Linney as Marty and Wendy Byrde, a married couple who move their family to the Lake of the Ozarks to continue their work laundering money for a Mexican drug cartel. Bateman also serves as a director and executive producer for the series. The first season was released on July 21, 2017; the second season was released on August 31, 2018; and the third season was released on March 27, 2020. The first three seasons are 10 episodes each.
