Bruce LaFrance (born in Bay City, Michigan) is an American bassist.
In 2005, when Tantric bassist Jesse Vest had left the band, LaFrance was suggested as a replacement. [1] In January 2006, LaFrance traveled with Tantric and hard rock group Drowning Pool to Seoul, South Korea to play several shows for U.S. troops stationed along the Korean Demilitarized Zone.[ citation needed ] In March 2006, Tantric parted ways with Maverick Records which was collapsing. Maverick had postponed the release of the third record which caused much internal strife in the band already strained by personal and musical frustration.[ citation needed ] During this time LaFrance was in a side project called "State Of The Art" with Hugo Ferreira (Tantric), Joe Pessia (Dramagods), Marcus Ratzenboeck, Kevin Miller (Fuel). In May 2007 Bruce left Tantric and State Of The Art to form Interchange with original Tantric/Days of the New guitarist Todd Whitener. [2] State Of The Art became the "new" Tantric. LaFrance had also been working with Louisville based band Nova Red since October 2005. Nova Red released their first album "No Regrets" produced by Malcolm Springer in October 2007. In 2008 LaFrance was recording and performing with both Interchange and Nova Red. Interchange has disbanded while Nova Red still remains active playing occasional shows and demoing new material. While he is not credited on any Tantric albums, he does claim to have co-written three songs on The End Begins album and played on some tracks.
As of 2011, Bruce moved back home and has resumed being a working cover/hired gun musician and hosting various benefits. He has played in several bands in Mid Michigan including fill-in spots with recording artists Deepfield and still plays with long running original project Feeding the Machine with guitarist Kevin McCreery (Uncle Kracker), who died in 2017, and drummer Fran MacMillan. He also continued his own sound engineering business in Michigan (called Level 47 Productions) that he began in Louisville, KY in 2007. He was recently voted Best Rock Bass Player for 2013 by the Bay Area Review, an award he also won in 2000.[ citation needed ]

DevilDriver is an American heavy metal band from Santa Barbara, California, formed in 2002, consisting of vocalist Dez Fafara, bassist Jon Miller, rhythm guitarist Alex Lee and drummer Davier Pérez. The band was originally named Deathride; however, due to copyright issues and the name being taken by several bands, the band changed its name to DevilDriver.
Pablo Cruise is an American pop/rock band from San Francisco currently composed of David Jenkins, Cory Lerios, Sergio Gonzalez (drums), Larry Antonino, and Robbie Wyckoff. Formed in 1973, the band released eight studio albums over the next decade, during which time five singles reached the top 25 of the Billboard Hot 100. The group underwent several personnel changes and split up in 1986. The original lineup—Jenkins, Lerios, Price and Bud Cockrell—reunited briefly in 2004, and the group continues to tour today with two out of the original four members present.
Days of the New was an American rock band from Charlestown, Indiana, formed in 1995. The band later relocated to Louisville, Kentucky. They consisted of vocalist/guitarist Travis Meeks and a variety of supporting musicians. They are best known for the hit singles "Touch, Peel and Stand", "The Down Town", "Shelf in the Room", and "Enemy", as well as radio hits "Weapon and the Wound", "Hang On To This" and "Die Born". "Touch, Peel and Stand" was named, ″Greatest of All-Time Mainstream Rock Song″ by Billboard Magazine.

Tantric is an American rock band from Louisville, Kentucky. The group was founded in 1998 by Todd Whitener, Jesse Vest and Mat Taul after they left Days of the New, and joined forces with vocalist Hugo Ferreira. Ferreira is the only remaining member of the band from the original lineup.

Flaw is an American nu metal band from Louisville, Kentucky, formed by guitarist Jason Daunt in 1996. The End Begins is the third studio album by American rock band Tantric. It is the first one recorded without the band's original members Todd Whitener, Matt Taul, and Jesse Vest. Vocalist Hugo Ferreira, the only remaining original member, was forced to scrap the original line-up's complete third album in favor of The End Begins, an effort established by new members of the band in addition to Ferreira. This is the only studio album to feature former Fuel drummer Kevin Miller.

Steve Wilson is an American jazz multi-instrumentalist, who is best known in the musical community as a flutist and an alto and soprano saxophonist. He also plays the clarinet and the piccolo. Wilson performs on many different instruments and has performed and recorded on over twenty-five albums. His interests include folk, jazz, classical, world music, and experimental music. Wilson is currently on the faculty of New England Conservatory in Boston, Massachusetts. He was elected as an American Champion by the National Flute Association. Wilson has maintained a busy career working as a session musician, and has contributed to many musicians of note both in the recording studios, but as a sideman on tours. Over the years he has participated in engagements with several musical ensembles, as well as his own solo efforts.

Kevin Chown is an American bass player best known for his work with Finnish vocalist Tarja Turunen, funk/rock/fusion quartet Chad Smith's Bombastic Meatbats, and progressive metal bands Edwin Dare and Artension.
