Timothy Lewis Taylor Jr. (born August 8, 1985) is an American musician. He is the drummer of the hard rock band SOiL. He is the former drummer of the rock band Tantric.
Taylor was raised on a 100-acre farm outside of Frankfort, Kentucky. His interest in the drums began at a young age, after being given a drum kit by a neighbor. [1] Taylor spent many time playing records like Led Zeppelin's Coda , Foreigner's 4 , Rush's Hemispheres , Van Halen's 5150 or Soundgarden's Superunknown . Taylor, being left-handed, played open handed, on a right-handed positioned drum kit, and reversing his ride and first rack tom. In high school, Taylor (although under age) would sneak through the back door of a local bar to perform in the house band every Thursday night. Performing covers, as well as original material on a band called Blind Addiction. Taylor was a finalist in the Guitar Center drum off competition, as well as settling into touring gigs with former EMI singer songwriter Buffy Lawson (formerly of Bomshel), as well as Atlanta-based nu metal group Dangerous New Machine (featuring Eric Rogers of Stereomud and Billy Grey of Fozzy). Taylor toured and recorded with Tantric from 2012 to 2015 replacing drummer Ritchie Monica. Taylor was made a full-time member of the band in 2013. He recorded and toured in support of records "37 Channels" (Pavement Records), and "Blue Room Archives" (Pavement Records). He left the band in 2015. [3]
In September 2018 TJ began drumming for the metal band SOiL. TJ recorded drums on the record "Play it forward", released on Cleopatra Records in 2022.

Matthew David Cameron is an American musician who is the drummer for the rock band Pearl Jam. He first gained fame as the drummer for Seattle-based rock band Soundgarden, which he joined in 1986. He appeared on each of the band's studio albums until its break-up in 1997. In 1998, Cameron was invited to join Pearl Jam's U.S. Yield Tour and then became a permanent member of the band. In 2010, Cameron became simultaneously a member of Pearl Jam and the reunited Soundgarden. He remained with Soundgarden until its disbandment after the death of lead singer Chris Cornell in 2017. Cameron, along with guitarist Kim Thayil and Cornell, is one of three members to feature on every Soundgarden studio album.

Soil is an American rock band that was formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1997. After some independent releases, the band was the first rock group signed to J Records and achieved mainstream success with their major label debut, Scars, in 2001. Tantric is an American post-grunge band from Louisville, Kentucky. The group was founded in 1998 by Todd Whitener, Jesse Vest and Mat Taul after they left Days of the New, and joined forces with vocalist Hugo Ferreira. Ferreira is the only remaining member of the band from the original lineup.

Flaw is an American nu metal band from Louisville, Kentucky, formed by guitarist Jason Daunt in 1996. Rufus Tiger Taylor is an English musician, best known as the drummer for the rock band The Darkness since May 2015, and as a touring drummer for the Queen + Adam Lambert stage shows. He is the son of Queen drummer Roger Taylor. His Godfather was drummer Taylor Hawkins from the Foo Fighters.
