The Brunei Open was an Asian Tour golf tournament. The 2005 staging was Brunei's first ever professional golf tournament, and it was won by Terry Pilkadaris of Australia. The event is held at the Jack Nicklaus-designed course at the Empire Hotel and Country Club. In 2010 the prize fund was US$300,000.

Professional golf tours are the means by which otherwise unconnected professional golf tournaments are organised into a regular schedule. The TCL Classic was a men's professional golf tournament which was played on a course designed by American Robert Trent Jones, Jr. at Yalong Bay Golf Club in Sanya on Hainan Island, People's Republic of China four times between 2002 and 2007. The first tournament was held at Haiyi Golf Club in Dongguan on Guangdong, China, in 2002. It was the first tournament sponsored by the Chinese company TCL Corporation.

The Royal Trophy was a men's professional team golf tournament which was played between 2006 and 2013. The competing teams represented Europe and Asia. Eight man teams played a series of 16 matches involving foursomes, four-ball and singles for the right to hold a trophy donated by the King of Thailand.

The BMW Masters was a golf tournament played annually at Lake Malaren Golf Club, in Luodian, Shanghai, China. The tournament began in 2011 and became a European Tour event in 2012. It was dropped from the European Tour in 2016.

Shinhan Donghae Open

The Shinhan Donghae Open is a men's professional golf tournament that has been held annually in South Korea since 1981. It has been an Asian Tour event since 2016. And it became the first event to be tri-sanctioned by the Asian Tour, Korean PGA and Japan Golf Tour from 2019. The tournament is sponsored by the Shinhan Financial Group which is a South Korean financial holding company.

True Thailand Classic

True Thailand Classic was a golf tournament, co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the European Tour, played in Thailand in 2015 and 2016. The inaugural tournament was played from 12–15 February 2015 at the Black Mountain Golf Club, in Hua Hin. It had a purse of US$2,000,000, twice as high as the other leading tournaments in the country, the Thailand Golf Championship and Thailand Open.

AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open

The AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open was a men's professional golf tournament, co-sanctioned by the European Tour, Sunshine Tour, and Asian Tour. It began in 2015 and was played at Heritage Golf Club in Bel-Ombre, Mauritius. In 2016 and 2018 the tournament was held at the Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita, returning to Heritage Golf Club in 2017 and in 2019. The 2015 and 2016 events were played in May but in 2017 it was moved to December and was part of the 2018 European Tour schedule.

The golf competitions at the 2017 Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur, were held at The Mines Resort and Golf Club in Selangor.

The Brunei Ladies Open was a women's professional golf tournament in Brunei tri-sanctioned by the China LPGA Tour, the Brunei Golf Association and the LPGA of Korea Tour (KLPGA).
