Bruno Bianco Leal (born 9 January 1982) [1] is a Brazilian attorney and politician who served as the deputy special secretary for Social Security and Labor at the Ministry of Economy,from January 2019 to August 2021,and as the Attorney General of Brazil in the Bolsonaro administration,from August 2021 to December 2022. [2] [3] Following the end of Bolsonaro's government,he was hired as a senior relationship manager at BTG Pactual bank in January 2023. [4] Bianco also served as an advisor to the Civil House during Michel Temer's government,where he provided assistance in the development of the pension reform. [5]
Geraldo JoséRodrigues Alckmin Filho is a Brazilian physician and politician who has served as the 26th vice president of Brazil since 1 January 2023. On 8 January 2023,following the defeat of then-president Jair Bolsonaro in the 2022 Brazilian general election and the inauguration of his successor Luis Inácio Lula da Silva,a mob of Bolsonaro's supporters attacked Brazil's federal government buildings in the capital,Brasília. The mob invaded and vandalized the Supreme Federal Court,the National Congress building and the Planalto Presidential Palace in the Praça dos Três Poderes,seeking to violently overthrow the democratically elected president Lula,who had been inaugurated on 1 January. Many rioters said their purpose was to spur military leaders to launch a coup d'état and disrupt the democratic transition of power.
