Shaun Barker, known by the stage name Bruza, is a British grime MC [1] and rapper from Walthamstow, East London. [2] [3]
He started his career in 1992 as a member of pop/R&B boy band Chaos who were discovered by Simon Cowell, later becoming known as Ultimate Kaos. He released one single with the group, "Farewell My Summer Love" (originally by Michael Jackson). He soon departed the group due to unknown reasons.
Bruza is known for rapping in a Cockney accent. [4] Before grime music emerged in the early 2000s, Bruza was part of the drum and bass collective Reckless Crew going under the name of Chigga D.
His Christmas 2003 lyrical clash with Crazy Titch on a now defunct pirate radio station was captured on the DVD release of Lord of the Mics 1 . [5] [6] He was briefly part of the Aftershock [7] group before leaving. In early 2006, he collaborated with other grime artists to perform a fusion of grime and classical music at the Hackney Empire. Timothy Westwood is a British DJ and presenter. He is often referred to by other DJs and artists appearing on his shows simply as Westwood. Grime is a genre of electronic dance music (EDM) that emerged in London in the early 2000s. It developed out of the earlier UK dance style UK garage, and draws influences from jungle, dancehall, and hip hop. The style is typified by rapid, syncopated breakbeats, generally around 140 beats per minute, and often features an aggressive or jagged electronic sound. Emceeing is a significant element of the style, and lyrics often revolve around gritty depictions of urban life.

Kane Brett Robinson, better known as Kano, is a British rapper, songwriter and actor from East Ham, London. DJ Cameo is an English DJ and former host of "Pirate Sessions", a now-defunct Sunday afternoon grime show on the digital UK radio station BBC 1Xtra. He later hosted the Tuesday night UKG show, but on 4 November 2015 it was announced that he would be replaced by a new DJ called Jamz Supernova who would be playing R&B. The music Cameo produces varies from 2-step vocals, to 4x4, to grime, and sublow. In 2004, Cameo was voted winner of the "Best Newcomer" Award for the garage scene's 2004 Peoples Choice Awards held in London. Cameo also received two back to back awards on behalf of Uptown Records, winner of best record shop.

In the past 14 years he has collaborated with the likes of Skepta, T.I., Meek Mill, Young Adz and many others. Lord of the Mics is a series of recorded grime clashes, headed by Jammer and Chad 'Ratty' Stennett. Each edition of LOTM features grime MCs participating in recorded clashes, in which they 'battle' each other over grime instrumentals. Various notable grime MCs have participated in Lord of the Mics, such as Skepta, Wiley, Kano, and P Money. LOTM was originally launched in 2004. The first clash to be filmed for LOTM, Wiley versus Kano, was filmed in Jammer's basement. The series was originally only published on DVD. LOTM was the first platform that released filmed grime clashes.
