The Yale Bulldogs men's ice hockey team represents Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut and is the oldest collegiate ice hockey team in the United States. The Bulldogs compete in the Ivy League and the ECAC Hockey League (ECACHL) and play their home games at Ingalls Rink, also called the Yale Whale. The current head coach is Keith Allain, who led the Bulldogs to an Ivy League championship in his first year as head coach. Allain is assisted by former QU/UND goaltender, Josh Siembida. On April 13, 2013, the Bulldogs shut out Quinnipiac 4–0 to win their first NCAA Division I Championship.
The Quinnipiac Bobcats women's ice hockey represented Quinnipiac University in the 2009–10 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. The Bobcats were the most improved team in the NCAA. At season's end, the squad had won 19 contests, a 16 win improvement compared to the 2008–09 season, when Quinnipiac won only 3 games. The Bobcats set a school record with conference wins (11), and hosted a postseason game for the first time in the program's history.

Kelly Babstock is a Canadian-American ice hockey player who currently plays with the Metropolitan Riveters of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). She has Ojibwe roots and is originally from Little Current on Manitoulin Island, part of the Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory. Babstock played collegiate ice hockey with the Quinnipiac Bobcats and remains the top point scorer in the program’s history. In the NWHL, she played with the Connecticut Whale from 2015–2018 and with the Buffalo Beauts during the 2018–19 season. In the Whale's inaugural game on October 15, 2015, she became the first Canadian-born player to score a goal in a NWHL regular season game.
Michael Garteig is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who is currently playing for ERC Ingolstadt in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Garteig has previously played for Utica Comets and Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.

Odeen Peter Tufto is an American professional ice hockey center for the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League (AHL). After spending four seasons with the Quinnipiac Bobcats men's ice hockey team, he signed an entry-level contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning for the 2021–22 season.
