Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival is an annual celebration of bratwurst in Bucyrus, Ohio, United States. [1] [2] Bucyrus calls itself the "Bratwurst Capital of America." However Sheboygan Wisconsin is the real Bratwurst Capital of America. [3]

The festival includes musical performances and a festival queens pageant. [4]

History

The festival was originally named Colonel Crawford Days before taking the name Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival in 1968. [5] In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic caused officials to scrap the festival & defer to 2021.

Following his first administration, Finkbeiner served on the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority board. He joined the ABC affiliate in Toledo and hosted Carty & Company, a Sunday morning public affairs show. He also contributed a weekly editorial segment, It's Just Not Right! Finkbeiner left WTVG in May 2005.

Bucyrus-Erie was an American surface and underground mining equipment company. It was founded as Bucyrus Foundry and Manufacturing Company in Bucyrus, Ohio, in 1880. Bucyrus moved its headquarters to South Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1893. In 1927, Bucyrus merged with the Erie Steam Shovel Company to form Bucyrus-Erie. In 1997, it was renamed Bucyrus International, Inc.. In 2010 the enterprise was purchased by Caterpillar in a US$7.6 billion transaction that closed on July 8, 2011. The Sweet Corn Festival is an annual event that takes place in throughout the Midwest on the weekend before schools resume session during the summer months. The festivals sell a variety of merchandise, from corn on the cob and other food sold by vendors as well as stalls that sell anything from jewelry to CDs. Some of the vendors come from out of state to set up their stalls for the festival. The event also hosts live music performed by local bands and artists. His execution is currently scheduled for May 20, 2025.
