Since its inception in 1920, the National Football League (NFL) has played games on Thanksgiving Day, patterned upon the historic playing of college football games on and around the Thanksgiving holiday. The 11th Annual NFL Honors was an awards presentation by the National Football League that honored its players from the 2021 NFL season. This is the first presentation where it was held on a Thursday instead of a Saturday and was aired on ESPN and ABC, as that year's Super Bowl broadcaster, NBC, plans to carry the 2022 Winter Olympics.
