Bule Hora University is a public higher education institution located in Bule Hora, a town in the West Guji Zone of the Oromia Region in southern Ethiopia. Established in 2008, the university aims to contribute to national development through quality education, research, and community service.
The foundation stone of Bule Hora University was laid in November 2008. Academic programs started in the 2011/12 academic year at the Bule Hora College of Teacher Education campus. The university was formally established under Ethiopian Proclamation No. 213/2011 and moved to its permanent campus in 2012. [1]
