After selling his company, Benefit Planners LLP in 2001, Mr. Cusick followed his dream and passion of carrying on a family heritage and purchased Chimney Peak Ranch in Ridgway, Colorado, a 1100 head working cattle operation. That was followed up by developing Estancia at Thunder Valley, over 1000 acres in Boerne, Texas, another dream he had envisioned since his days in high school. In 2011 with long time friend George Strait, they purchased Tapatio Springs Resort and Golf Course located in Boerne, Texas, investing more than four million dollars in renovations on the property and golf course the grand opening was held on November 11, 2011.
