The Burlington Performing Arts Centre (BPAC) is a multi-purpose venue located in the downtown core of Burlington, Ontario. The venue is the only performing arts centre in Ontario and second in Canada to receive Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification. [2] The venue features three stages; the Main Theatre, a world-class performance stage featuring a six-story fly tower; Community Studio Theatre, a smaller scale of the Main Theatre with 2,500 square feet of floor space; the Family Lobby, features an open concept with a glass roof encircled by a balcony overlooking the floor. In 2015, the Centre commissioned an Economic Impact Study that found that the estimated economic impact of the Centre was $7.8 million in 2014. [4]
In March 2007, the City of Burlington purchased land from the Halton Regional Police Service, where a police station once was at the corner of Locust Street and Elgin Street. In September 2007, the City of Burlington retained Diamond and Schmitt Architects Inc. to design The Centre. [5] The official groundbreaking occurred in March 2009. The Burlington Performing Arts Centre opened its doors on October 1, 2011. [6]

Meridian Hall is a performing arts venue in Toronto, Ontario, and it is the country's largest soft-seat theatre. The facility was constructed for the City of Toronto municipal government and is currently managed by TO Live, an arms-length agency and registered charity created by the city. Located at 1 Front Street East, the venue opened as the O'Keefe Centre on October 1, 1960. From 1996 to 2007, the building was known as the Hummingbird Centre for the Performing Arts. From 2007 to 2019, it was known as the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts. On September 15, 2019, it was re-branded as Meridian Hall.

The Meridian Arts Centre is a performing arts venue in the North York district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It opened on October 16, 1993, as the North York Performing Arts Centre and was designed by Canadian architect Eberhard Zeidler for musicals, theatre productions and other performing arts. At opening, North York awarded management of the centre to Livent, which sold the naming rights in 1994 to Ford Motor Company of Canada. It became the Ford Centre for the Performing Arts. Later, it debranded as the Toronto Centre for the Arts.

The Woodstock Opera House is a historical venue for performing arts and receptions located in Woodstock, Illinois. Dubai Opera is a 2,000-seat, multi-format, performing arts centre located within The Opera District in Downtown Dubai. It was developed by Emaar Properties to host a variety of performances and events including theatre, opera, ballet, concerts, conferences and exhibitions. Its plans were announced by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in March 2012 and it was completed in 2016. It opened on 31 August 2016 with a performance by Plácido Domingo. The first season featured Bizet's The Pearl Fishers opera and tenor José Carreras. Dubai Opera has flat floor capacity of 1,800 m2 (19,000 sq ft). This floor can be hired for weddings, gala dinners, fashion shows and exhibitions.
