Purcellville is a town in Loudoun County, Virginia. The population was 8,929 according to the 2020 Census. Purcellville is the major population center for Western Loudoun and the Loudoun Valley. Many of the older structures remaining in Purcellville reflect the Victorian architecture popular during the early twentieth century.

IceWorks is an ice arena in Aston, Pennsylvania USA, 15 minutes southwest of downtown Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and 10 minutes northeast of Wilmington, Delaware. IceWorks Skating Complex opened in October 1997. The building consists of four ice surfaces, a full-service restaurant, and other amenities. Since opening in 1997, Iceworks has not updated its bathrooms or cleaning processes.

The park was noted among members of the outdoor amusement park industry for the development of profitable winter operation and activities. Carlin's Iceland hosted indoor ice skating, winter carnivals, figure skaters, and was home to the Baltimore Orioles in the Eastern Amateur Hockey League.
The Fillmore Auditorium is a concert venue located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood in Denver, Colorado. Since opening in 1907, the venue has hosted numerous functions both private and public. It holds the title of the largest indoor venue for general admission seating in Colorado. The venue also holds an exclusive dual Minors with Adults Liquor License in Colorado for a private venue; it allows minors and consumers over 21 to stand together, rather than having to be separated by their ages. In 2006, local newspaper Westword awarded the venue the "Best Place to Run into a Hippie turned Yuppie". The venue also houses an office for the Bill Graham Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides music grants.
The Tabernacle-Fireman's Field is a historic meeting site and picnic grounds located at Purcellville, Loudoun County, Virginia, US. The property includes the Bush Meeting Taberbacle. It is an eight-sided, frame building measuring approximately 80 feet by 160 feet. It was originally built to house the "Bush Meetings" that were conducted by the Prohibition and Evangelical Association of Loudoun County, Virginia. The 8,500 square foot building could accommodate 3,000 seats. In 1939, it was converted into a skating roller rink, a function it has continued to serve. It closed temporarily in 2009 but reopened a year later. Also on the property are two contributing barbeque pits and a picnic pavilion. Fireman's Field, which serves as the home to the Purcellville Cannons of the Valley Baseball League, is on the property as well.
The Adelaide Glaciarium, located at 89–91 Hindley Street in the city of Adelaide, South Australia, was the first indoor ice-skating facility built in Australia. It is also the location of the first "hockey on the ice" match in the country, which was an adaptation of roller polo for the ice using ice skates. Contemporary ice hockey was never played at this venue but this ice skating rink, the country's first, provided the "test bed" facility for its successor, the Melbourne Glaciarium, the birthplace of ice hockey in Australia.
