Börje Dorch (17 October 1929 in Malmö – 9 January 2004) was a Swedish draughtsman, journalist and writer who was very active in sports. [1] [2]

Malmö is the largest city of the Swedish county of Skåne County, the third-largest city in Sweden, after Stockholm and Gothenburg, and the sixth-largest city in Scandinavia, with a population of 312,012 inhabitants in 2017 out of a municipal total of 338,230. Although born in Malmö, Dorch grew up in Södermalm in Stockholm. Signs of a talent in writing were detected early, and he was self-taught, with a self-chiseled style using elaborate yet straightforward language. He was also an accomplished amateur boxer with national team qualifications and it was mainly in boxing where he was active. Dorch founded the Swedish Boxing society journal Boxing and an association called Punchpralinerna (in English, Punch chocolates). He collaborated with childhood friend, the legendary football player Nacka Skoglund with whom he finished his football career, on various advertising assignments, etc.

Andersson played the majority of his career for Malmö FF in two different periods where he also served as team captain between 2006 and 2011, he also had a successful period playing for Serie A club Bari. He also had a long international playing career, playing 74 matches for Sweden. Daniel is part of a prosperous football family as both his father Roy Andersson and brother Patrik Andersson had successful football careers.

Börje Rendin Swedish Olympic athlete

Börje Ingvar Rendin was a Swedish sprinter. He competed at the 1948 Summer Olympics, where he was eliminated in the opening round of the 110 metres hurdles event. He was born in Malmö and competed for the Malmö Allmänna Idrottsförening, winning with them the Swedish 4 × 100 m title in 1943–44 and 1946–47.
