Carl "Rob" Robert Henrikson (born May 21, 1947) was the Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of MetLife, Inc. Henrikson was appointed CEO on March 1, 2006 and Chairman of the Board on April 25, 2006. Henrikson was succeeded by Steven A. Kandarian as Chair, President and CEO of MetLife, Inc. in 2011.

Henrikson received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1969 and a J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 1972. [2] In addition, he is a graduate of the Wharton School's Advanced Management Program.He has testified at a number of congressional hearings on retirement, pension and employee benefits matters. [3]

He is a board member of the American Council of Life Insurers, a board member of The Ron Brown Award for Corporate Leadership and a board member emeritus of the American Benefits Council. He also serves on the National Board of Advisors at the Morehouse School of Medicine, the board of directors of The New York Botanical Garden, and is a trustee of the American Museum of Natural History. He serves as chairman of the board of the S.S. Huebner Foundation for Insurance Education, and as a member of the Emory Law School Council and the Emory Campaign Steering Committee. [4]

In 2006, he was honored with Emory Law School's Distinguished Alumni Award, [3] and was elected to Emory's Board of Trustees as an Alumni Trustee in 2007. [5]

John W. Snow 73rd United States Secretary of the Treasury

John William Snow is an American economist, attorney, and businessman who is the former CEO of CSX Corporation and served as the 73rd United States secretary of the treasury under U.S. President George W. Bush. He replaced Secretary Paul H. O'Neill on February 3, 2003 and was succeeded by Henry Paulson on July 3, 2006. Snow submitted a letter of resignation on May 30, 2006, effective "after an orderly transition period for my successor." Snow announced on June 29, 2006 that he had completed his last day on the job; Robert M. Kimmitt served as acting secretary until Paulson was sworn in. Snow has since worked as chairman of Cerberus Capital Management.

Kandarian retired from MetLife on April 30, 2019 and was succeeded by Michel Khalaf.

Ravens Claw Society

The Raven's Claw is an all-male senior honorary society at Dickinson College. It was founded in 1896, making it the first society unique to Dickinson College and one of the oldest in the country. Membership is limited to seven senior men who are selected by the seven previous members. The new members are chosen based on a variety of factors, which are speculated to include: campus leadership, a solid academic record, and athletic participation. While those are often the factors associated with membership in the Raven's Claw Society, no one knows for certain how or why members are selected. New members are inducted in a "Tapping Ceremony" which is held on the "Old Stone Steps of Old West." The ceremony is traditionally conducted during commencement weekend. They are called "claws" or "white hats", denoting the white caps they wear around campus to signify unity and loyalty on certain days throughout the year.
