Dealema is a long-running Portuguese hip-hop group based in Porto. Along with Mind Da Gap, they are one of the oldest hip-hop bands in Portugal and had major influence over the genre's development across the country. Skylab IX is a live album by the Brazilian musician Rogério Skylab, the ninth in his series of ten eponymous, numbered albums and his second live album overall following Skylab II from 2000. It was self-released on September 2, 2009 and recorded in September the previous year during a gig at the Centro Cultural São Paulo. The album includes guest appearances by Löis Lancaster of Zumbi do Mato, Maurício Pereira of Os Mulheres Negras and Marcelo Birck of Graforreia Xilarmônica. A live DVD of the performance, the first in Skylab's career, was simultaneously released; it contains more tracks than the CD version.
Marta Dias is a São Toméan Portuguese singer of jazz, world music and fado who has recorded several solo albums and has additionally recorded and toured extensively with guitarist António Chainho. She has also appeared on several Hip hop releases, including the Ithaka song, Escape From The City Of Angels, which appeared in Columbia Pictures's feature film release, The Replacement Killers in 1998.

"Andorinhas" is a single by Ana Moura, and became the first single of her album Casa Guilhermina. It was released on 30 April 2021, and became her first independent release after leaving Universal Music. The song was well received and despite never entering the official Portuguese music charts, it has reached over 6 million streams on Spotify and 11 million on YouTube, as of December 2023. It is still unknown why the song never charted, considering it is the best performing song from the album on streaming services, and the other singles and non-singles have appeared on the 10,000 best-selling songs of 2022, officially released by Audiogest.
