CBS Tramore was a secondary school located in Tramore, Co. Waterford, Ireland. It catered for students studying for the Irish Junior and Leaving Certificate. Since 2007, it also catered for LCA students. The school closed in June, 2014 and amalgamated with Stella Maris to form a new school, Ardscoil Na Mara.
Tramore is a seaside town in County Waterford, on the southeast coast of Ireland. With humble origins as a small fishing village, the area saw rapid development upon the arrival of the railway from Waterford City in 1853. Initially the town flourished as a tourist destination, attracting visitors from as far away as Dublin in summer and from closer to home all year-round. As the population grew steadily in the latter part of the 20th century, Tramore became a satellite and dormitory town of Waterford City, situated some 13 km to the north. Today the town is a popular destination for surfing and other water sports due to its large, sheltered bay and provision of accommodation and amenities.

Douglas is a village and suburb contained within Cork city, Ireland and the name given to the Roman Catholic, Church of Ireland and Civil parish in which it is contained. Originally a village, the growth of both the village and the city has meant Douglas has become incorporated into the city over time. The 2017 Mackinnon Report proposed that Douglas and surrounding residential areas be moved to within an extended Cork city boundary, ending the division of Douglas between the city and county administrative areas. This was approved by the Cabinet on 6 June 2018, with Douglas and surrounding areas Rochestown, Grange and Frankfield to move into the city council area following the 2019 local elections. This change occurred on 31 May 2019, ending the divide between the separated halves of Douglas.
The Waterford and Tramore Railway was a railway in County Waterford, Ireland, that linked the city of Waterford and the seaside town of Tramore, a distance of 7 1⁄4 miles (11.7 km). It was opened on 5 September 1853 and closed on 31 December 1960.

Many of the main roads in Ballyphehane are named after the executed leaders of the 1916 Rising.

Blennerville is a small village and now a suburb of Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland. It is approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) west of the town centre on the N86 road to Dingle, where the River Lee enters Tralee Bay. The village was formerly Tralee's port, and is connected to the town centre by the Tralee Ship Canal. Part of Blennerville electoral division falls within the area of Tralee Town Council, and at the 2011 census had a population of 141. The remaining portion, outside the urban boundaries, had a 2011 population of 556.
Tramore Racecourse is a horse racing venue in Tramore, County Waterford, Ireland which stages both National Hunt and Flat racing. The course is a Grade Two racecourse and is noted for its right-handed track on a 7 furlong (1400m) circuit.
Tramore Valley Park is a park on the southside of Cork in Ireland. With an area of approximately 160 acres (65 ha), the park site is located on a landfill site which closed in 2009. While parts of the park opened in mid-2015, and had been targeted to open more completely during 2016, as of October 2018 the park had not been opened to the public on a broader scale or to larger events. The park was ultimately opened in May 2019, and is managed by the Glen Resource Centre on behalf of Cork City Council.
Andrew McNamara is a retired Irish National Hunt jockey. McNamara had his first winning ride on La Captive in a bumper at Wexford in July 2002. He turned professional at the beginning of the 2004-05 season.
