Coastal Carolina University is a public university in Conway, South Carolina. Founded in 1954 as Coastal Carolina Junior College, and later joining the University of South Carolina System as USC Coastal Carolina, it became an independent university in 1993.
North Carolina Fusion U-23, formerly known as Carolina Dynamo, is an American soccer team based in Greensboro, North Carolina, United States. Founded in 1993, the team plays in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid.
Stevens Stadium is a 7,000-seat soccer stadium on the west coast of the United States, located on the campus of Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California. The stadium is the current home of the Santa Clara Broncos soccer teams and was the former home of the now-defunct football team as well as the baseball team. The baseball team moved to their new home at Stephen Schott Stadium in 2005.
WakeMed Soccer Park is a soccer complex in Cary, North Carolina, United States. It consists of a purpose-built, soccer-specific main stadium named WakeMed Soccer Park Stadium, two lighted practice fields, and four additional fields. The main stadium and the two lighted fields are all FIFA international regulation size. The stadium seats 10,000, while Field 2 also has 1,000 permanent bleacher seats. The complex also sports a full-length cross-country course and houses the offices of Triangle Professional Soccer.

The NC State Wolfpack is the nickname of the athletic teams representing North Carolina State University. The Wolfpack competes at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) for all sports since the 1953–54 season. The athletic teams of the Wolfpack compete in 22 intercollegiate varsity sports. NC State is a founding member of the ACC and has won eleven national championships: five NCAA championships, two AIAW championships, and four titles under other sanctioning bodies. The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers are the athletic teams that represent Coastal Carolina University. They participate in Division I of the NCAA as a member of the Sun Belt Conference (SBC) in most sports, having joined that conference as a full but non-football member on July 1, 2016. At that time, the football team began a transition from the second-level Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) to the top-level Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). The team played the 2016 season as an FCS independent, joined SBC football for the 2017 season, and became full FBS members for 2018 and beyond. A Chanticleer is a proud and fierce rooster. Before joining the SBC, the Chanticleers had been members of the Big South Conference since that league's formation in 1983. Coastal fields varsity teams in 19 sports, 8 for men and 11 for women. The university regularly competed for the Sasser Cup, the Big South's trophy for the university with the best sports program among the member institutions, winning the trophy nine times, tied with rival Liberty University.
Toyota Stadium is a soccer-specific stadium located in Frisco, a suburb of Dallas, Texas, United States. Built and owned by the city of Frisco, the 20,500-seat stadium opened in 2005. Its primary tenants are Major League Soccer club FC Dallas and the Frisco Independent School District, which supported the construction to host their high school football games. It is the home field of the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers of the Sun Belt Conference. The 33,000-square-foot (3,100 m2) baseball project includes 2,500 permanent seats, with the potential to accommodate between 5,000 and 6,000 for major events like the NCAA postseason tournament.

The Chanticleers played their home games at Springs Brooks Stadium, on campus in Conway, South Carolina. Gary Gilmore was in his 21st season as the Chanticleers' coach. They won the 2016 College World Series, and with it the 2016 NCAA Division I National Championship, at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Nebraska over Arizona.

Ting Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Holly Springs, North Carolina. It is home to the Holly Springs Salamanders, a collegiate summer baseball team in the Coastal Plain League, and to Wake FC, a collegiate summer soccer team in USL League Two. It is also used for recreational football, baseball, and soccer programs; and for rentals, concerts, festivals and other events. The stadium hosted the Coastal Plain League's 19th Annual All-Star Game in 2017.
