Chalmers University of Technology is a Swedish university located in Gothenburg that conducts research and education in technology and natural sciences. The university has approximately 3100 employees and 10,000 students, and offers education in engineering, science, shipping, architecture and other management areas.

The Chalmers Naval Architecture Students' Society is a naval architecture graduate students group at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. The Society was found in 1887 following the establishment of the Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Department at the University. Since 1948, Föreningen Chalmers Skeppsbyggare has been a member of the Nordic Technical Universities Shipbuilders Congress (NTHS) which includes Chalmers, Technical University of Denmark, Helsinki University of Technology in Finland, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. Roughly, half of the FCS members are from Sweden while the rest are international students. Some of its members are also current members of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers. Unlike other student organizations at Chalmers, the society runs as a separate entity from the Chalmers Students' Union.
The Sweden–America Foundation is a Swedish foundation which provides fellowships to younger Swedes for scientific and cultural work in the United States and Canada. The objectives for the Foundation are to "work for the development of a relationship between Sweden, on the one hand, and the United States and Canada, on the other, by promoting the exchange of scientific, cultural, and practical experiences through presenting fellowships to young men and women for research and graduate level studies in the United States and Canada."
Pernilla Wittung-Stafshede is a Swedish biophysical chemist, born in 1968, who is a professor of chemical biology at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg. In 2019 she was named by International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry as a Distinguished Woman in Chemistry.
Holger Rootzén is a Swedish mathematical statistician. He is Professor in Mathematical Statistics at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Chalmers University of Technology since 1993.
