The CWF Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship was a professional wrestling heavyweight championship in Carolina Wrestling Federation Mid-Atlantic (CWF Mid-Atlantic).

The inaugural champion was David Taylor, who was awarded the title in 2000 to become the first CWF Heavyweight Champion. Ric Converse holds the record for most reigns, with six. At 1085 days, Trevor Lee's first reign is the longest in the title's history. Adrian Jackson's only reign was the shortest in the history of the title, lasting only seven days.

It is one of the oldest "indy" groups in North Carolina, succeeding Count Grog's Southern Championship Wrestling as the state's top promotion shortly before its close in 2004.

It was first introduced by the promotion while an affiliate of the Frontier Wrestling Alliance (2001-2004) and later recognized by AWA Superstars (2005-2007). The title is traditionally defended in an annual tournament, typically held in December, although it has been occasionally defended in singles matches during the year. Richard "Ric" Converse is an American professional wrestler. He is one of the top "heels" on the Southeastern independent circuit, especially in the Carolinas, and currently competes for CWF Mid-Atlantic where he is a record 6-time CWF Mid-Atlantic Champion. He has wrestled for a considerable number of other independent wrestling promotions, most notably, Count Grog's Southern Championship Wrestling, NWA Carolinas, and Pro Wrestling ZERO1-MAX. He was also a star in the short-lived AWA Superstars promotion holding both the promotion's world heavyweight title and tag team title during 2006 and 2007.
