Caitlin Fryers is an Irish boxer. [1] [2] [3] She competed in the 2022 Women's European Amateur Boxing Championships, winning the silver medal in the light flyweight event. [4] She also competed at the 2017 AIBA Youth Women's World Boxing Championships and 2022 European U22 Boxing Championships. [5]

The European Amateur Boxing Championships is the highest competition for boxing amateurs in Europe, organised by the continent's governing body EUBC, which stands for the European Boxing Confederation. Lauren Louise Price is a Welsh professional boxer, former amateur boxer and former kickboxer and footballer. She has held the British welterweight title since May 2023, and is the first female to hold the title. While representing Wales in the amateur sport she won a bronze medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, becoming the first Welsh woman to win a Commonwealth Games boxing medal. Four years later she surpassed this achievement by winning gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, followed by a gold at the 2019 World Championships. While representing Great Britain, she won gold medals at the 2019 European Games and 2020 Summer Olympics.

The 2022 European U22 Men’s and Women’s Boxing Championships (8th) took place in Poreč, Croatia from 13 to 24 March 2022. Men and women boxers between the ages of 19 and 22 was eligible for this championships. Only one boxer per national federation per weight category would be allowed to compete.

The 2022 Youth European Boxing Championships, the 32nd European Boxing Championships for youths aged 17 to 19, took place in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 14 to 21 April 2022. The event was organized by the European Boxing Confederation (EUBC). To participate, boxers must have been born in 2004 or 2005.
