A dolmen or portal tomb is a type of single-chamber megalithic tomb, usually consisting of two or more upright megaliths supporting a large flat horizontal capstone or "table". Most date from the early Neolithic and were sometimes covered with earth or smaller stones to form a tumulus. Small pad-stones may be wedged between the cap and supporting stones to achieve a level appearance. In many instances, the covering has eroded away, leaving only the stone "skeleton".

La Caixa, also known as the "La Caixa" Foundation, is a not-for-profit banking foundation based in Catalonia . Originally a savings bank (caja), it reorganized in the 2000s and 2010s: Its commercial assets are managed under its subsidiary CriteriaCaixa, which also has partial ownership of La Caixa's old banking business CaixaBank; those are used to fund La Caixa's Obra Social — social, cultural, scientific, and civic projects for the public good.

El Papiol is a municipality in the comarca of the Baix Llobregat in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the left bank of the Llobregat river, on the A-7 autopista from Valencia to La Jonquera and the C-1413 road from Sabadell to Molins de Rei. At West it borders on Castellbisbal and Pallejà, at North on Valldoreix and at East on Molins de Rei. It is served by the RENFE railway line R4 from Barcelona to Martorell, Vilafranca del Penedès and Sant Vicenç de Calders, which is connected to the village center by a minibus service. It is also served by a bus service (L67) and a night bus service (N51) from Barcelona to Esparreguera.

Castellbisbal is a municipality in the comarca of Vallès Occidental in Catalonia. It is situated on the left bank of the Llobregat river at its confluence with the Rubí river. The town is served by the A-7 autopista, the main N-II road and the RENFE railway line R4 between Barcelona and València.

Alt Àneu is a municipality in the comarca of the Pallars Sobirà in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the Noguera Pallaresa river, and is served by the C-13 road, which links it with Sort and to the Aran Valley over the Port de la Bonaigua (2072 m). Vandellòs i l'Hospitalet de l'Infant is a municipality in the comarca of the Baix Camp in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated in the south-west of the comarca, between the Serra de Llaberia range and the coast. The town of Vandellòs is some 15 km inland, connected with the AP-7 autopista and the N-340 road by the C-44 road. The town of L'Hospitalet de l'Infant is on the coast, and is an important tourist centre: it is served by a station on the RENFE railway line between Tarragona and Valencia.

L'Àgora is a multifunctional covered space designed by Santiago Calatrava located in the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències complex, Valencia, Spain. The building has a height of 70 m (230 ft) and occupies 5,000 m2 of space with an open ground plan resembling a pointed ellipse about 88 m (289 ft) long and 66 m (217 ft) wide. Depending on the configuration of the space, a maximum seating capacity for 6,075 people can be reached.

CaixaForum is a cultural centre managed by Fundación “La Caixa” located in 3 Avinguda de Blondel, in the city of Lleida, cornering Avinguda de Madrid, in the building popularly known as Montepío after the former name of a bank located in this building. The building which was the site of Cine Viñes became the cultural centre of Fundación “La Caixa” in 1989, so we can say that this building has always been related to cultural activities. It was later renamed in 2008 to keep the same naming convention of other centres from La Caixa.

CosmoCaixa Barcelona is a science museum located in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Formerly known as the Science Museum of Barcelona, it closed for renovations in 1998 and reopened in 2004 under its current name. The museum features a variety of exhibitions, permanent and temporary, that showcase the environment, nature, science, and space. CosmoCaixa also has a planetarium and exhibitions devoted to interaction such as touch and play for small children. It also has a bookstore, gift shop, library, teaching center and cafe. The museum is sponsored by la Caixa. Entry to the museum is free for students under 16. Adults too can enjoy at the museum with an entry ticket of 6 euros.

CaixaForum Barcelona is an art gallery in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It is sponsored by Barcelona bank "la Caixa", and opened in 2002 in a former factory. CaixaForum is located in the Montjuïc area, on Avinguda de Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia. The museum houses art exhibits.
