Caleb Lomu is an American college football offensive tackle for the Utah Utes.

Early life

Lomu attended Highland High School in Gilbert, Arizona and is of Tongan descent ^[1] . Lomu earned invites to play in the All-American Bowl and the Polynesian Bowl. ^[2] He was rated as a four-star recruit and committed to play college football for the Utah Utes offers from Arizona, Michigan, and USC. ^[2]

College career

As a freshman in 2023, Lomu only played 25 snaps for the Utes and took a redshirt. ^[3] He earned the starting left tackle spot in 2024. ^[4] That season, Lomu allowed just 17 pressures and two sacks, earning freshman all-American honors from The Athletic . ^[5] Heading into the 2025 season, he is heavily regarded as one of the top prospects in the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft. ^{[6] [7]}
