Calvin Hughes is a news anchor on WPLG Local 10, in Miami, Florida, United States. [1]

In mid-2010 Hughes moved form the morning and noontime anchor position to a nighttime co-anchor slot. [2]

Hughes came to Local 10 in late 2006 from KYW-TV, the CBS station in Philadelphia, [3] where he had been since November 2003 and anchored the weekend newscasts and served as a weekday night side reporter, covering several national stories, including the Live 8 Concert and Amish schoolhouse shootings. Hughes previously worked in Atlanta (WGCL-TV from 1999 to October 2002, where he worked with Jane Robelot), [4] [5] Dallas (KXAS-TV, 1995–99), [6] [7] Lexington, Kentucky (WKYT-TV), [7] and Evansville, Indiana (WTVW), [8] as an anchor and reporter. At 19, Hughes began reporting for the local radio station KBIA in Columbia, Missouri, while still a student at the University of Missouri, where he received a degree in journalism. [8]

Hughes was born in Cleveland and also spent several years in East St. Louis, Illinois. In 2002, he was selected to run the relay leg of the Olympic torch as it passed through the streets of St. Louis, Missouri, headed for the winter games in Salt Lake City, Utah.[ citation needed ]

Hughes lives in Miramar, Florida, with his wife, sons and daughter.[ citation needed ]

Jane Robelot is an American television host, who served as a co-anchor of CBS television's This Morning from 1996 to 1999. In the 1980s, she worked at WSPA-TV in Spartanburg, South Carolina, then at then-CBS-owned WCAU TV Philadelphia before moving to CBS. After working for CBS News, she was the primary anchor for WGCL-TV in Atlanta. A native of Greenville, South Carolina, where she graduated from Wade Hampton High School, and a graduate of Clemson University, she is currently the 4pm news anchor at WYFF-TV in Greenville, South Carolina. She is married and has one son.

Eliott Rodriguez is a Cuban-American television journalist who has received two Emmy Awards and four Edward R. Murrow Awards.

Will Manso is an American TV journalist and host. He is currently the WPLG Local 10 sports director and lead sports anchor, as well as reporter and Miami Heat studio host for road broadcasts on Bally Sports Sun in Miami, Florida.
