Cameron Coleman (born August 14, 2006) [1] is an American football wide receiver for the Auburn Tigers. He was the #5 ranked recruit in the 2024 recruiting class. [1]

Early life and high school

Coleman grew up in Phenix City, Alabama and attended Central High School where he played under Patrick Nix, a former Auburn quarterback and the father of Bo Nix. [2] [3] Coleman had 31 receptions for 542 yards and six touchdowns as a junior. [4] As a senior Coleman caught 61 passes for 1,372 yards and 18 touchdowns, leading Central to the state championship where he was named the games Most Valuable Player in a 21-19 victory over Thompson High School. [5] Coleman was rated as a five-star prospect and the nation's second ranked receiver recruit. [6] [1] He originally committed to play college football at Texas A&M before flipping to Auburn University. [7] [8]

Central High School (CHS) is a suburban public school located in Phenix City, Alabama. Offering grades 10 through 12, Central Phenix City is the only high school in the Phenix City School District. CHS is connected by one freshman academy, an eighth grade school, and eight elementary schools. The school district is located in the counties of Lee and Russell and neighbor the Russell County School District and the Lee County School District. Some neighboring high schools include but are not limited to: Russell County High School and Smiths Station High School. Cameron Camper, also known as 'Curley' is an American football wide receiver for the Boise State Broncos. He first played two seasons for Trinity Valley Community College, where he caught 50 receptions for four touchdowns and 858 yards, also named JUCO Pre-Season All-American. Camper then committed to Indiana in December 2021 and led Indiana's receivers in terms of receptions and yardage in 2022, before sustaining an injury, named 2022 IU Offensive Player of the Year. He then recovered to play in 2023, scoring one touchdown and catching 17 receptions for 285 yards, before committing to Boise State in January 2024.

Cameron Damonte Echols-Luper is an American professional football wide receiver and return specialist for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He attended Auburn High School in Auburn, Alabama, where he was a quarterback and won six state titles in track and field. He played college football for the TCU Horned Frogs from 2013 to 2014 as a wide receiver and earned Phil Steele second-team freshman All-American honors as a punt returner. He then transferred to play for the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers as a quarterback in 2015 but ended up playing wide receiver there as well after sitting out his first season due to NCAA transfer rules. In 2016, he was named the "Fastest Receiver" in the Sun Belt by the Sporting News and was also listed on NFL.com's "16 for '16: College football's most freakish athletes". He transferred to play his final season of college football for the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers in 2017.
