Cambio 21 (Change 21) is a Chilean periodical, created as an online newspaper in 2008, and published as a printed weekly since 9 March 2011.

After almost three years of exclusively appearing on the Internet, on 9 March 2011, the printed version of Cambio 21 appeared, published weekly. The launch of the written edition took place at the Torres Confectionery  [ es ]. [1]

The weekly Cambio 21 is printed and distributed by Copesa. Its editorial director is Juan Carvajal, former director of the Secretariat of Communications of La Moneda during the government of Michelle Bachelet, [2] and the editorial committee is composed of Ximena Tricallota, Malucha Pinto, Laura Albornoz, Juan Pablo Hermosilla, Claudio Arriagada  [ es ], Jorge Pizarro, Ricardo Solari, and Alfredo Ugarte  [ es ]. Verónica Michelle Bachelet Jeria is a Chilean politician who served as United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights from 2018 to 2022. She previously served as President of Chile from 2006 to 2010 and from 2014 to 2018 for the Socialist Party of Chile. She is the first woman to hold the Chilean presidency. After leaving the presidency in 2010 and before becoming eligible for re-election, she was appointed as the first executive director of the newly established United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women. In December 2013, Bachelet was re-elected with over 62% of the vote, surpassing the 54% she received in 2006. She was the first President of Chile to be re-elected since 1932.

Ricardo Andrés Lagos Weber, son of former Chilean president Ricardo Lagos, is a politician who served as the Ministry General Secretariat of Government of Chile in the administration of former President Michelle Bachelet after having worked for Bachelet's 2005-2006 campaign. He is trained in law and economics, and has served the majority of his government career in economic positions. He was also an organizer and the senior representative for Chile at the Annual Meeting of APEC held in Chile in 2004, in addition to being one of the architects of the free trade agreements that Chile signed with the United States and the European Union as the head of the Foreign Ministry's Department of Trade Policy. He is a member of the Party for Democracy (PPD). Between March 2016 and March 2017 he was President of the Senate of Chile.

When ranked by score, Chile ranked number 27 among the 180 countries in the Index, where the country ranked number 1 is perceived to have the most honest public sector. For comparison with worldwide scores, the best score was 90, the average score was 43, and the worst score was 12. For comparison with regional scores, the highest score among the countries of the Americas was 74, the average score was 43 and the lowest score was 14.

Alejandro Gaviria Uribe is a Colombian economist and engineer, serving as the Minister of National Education of Colombia since 7 August 2022, replacing María Victoria Angulo. Agreement for Change was a Venezuelan coalition created on June 21, 2018 by former 2018 presidential candidate and Chavismo defector Henri Falcón. The coalition initially integrated seven political parties opposed to the government of Nicolás Maduro. The alliance was committed to what they called the "democratic route" through mechanisms such as voting, dialogue, peaceful protests and the rejection of foreign intervention.
