Cambridge City Hockey Club is a field hockey club based at Wilberforce Road in Cambridge, England. [1] Facilities at the Wilberforce Road Sports Ground were expanded to include three artificial pitches in October 2018. [2]
Founded in 1906 the club now runs seven men's teams, five women's teams, and a junior section. [3] The men's first team play in the Men's England Hockey League [4] and the women's first team play in the Women's England Hockey League. [5] Former GB International Jon Peckett runs the Junior Academy. [6]

Hockey Canada is the national governing body of ice hockey and ice sledge hockey in Canada. It is a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation and controls the majority of organized ice hockey in Canada. There are some notable exceptions, such as the Canadian Hockey League, U Sports, and Canada's professional hockey clubs; the former two are partnered with Hockey Canada but are not member organizations. Hockey Canada is based in Calgary, with a secondary office in Ottawa and regional centres in Toronto, Winnipeg and Montreal.
Sport in the United Kingdom plays an important role in British culture and the United Kingdom has played a significant role in the organisation and spread of sporting culture globally. In the infancy of many organised sports, the Home Nations were heavily involved in setting out the formal rules of many sports and formed among the earliest separate governing bodies, national teams and domestic league competitions. Helen Richardson-Walsh, is an English hockey player who plays as a midfielder. She has been a member of both the England and the Great Britain women's field hockey teams since 1999, and was a member of the Great Britain team who won gold at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Sarah Glenn is an English cricketer who plays for the England women's cricket team as a leg break bowler. She also plays for Derbyshire, The Blaze, London Spirit and Brisbane Heat. After making her England debut in 2019, she played in the 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup and broke into the top 10 of the ICC T20I Bowling Rankings later that year. In September 2022, she rose to second in the Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) bowling rankings.
