Helen Grant (born 14 February 1979 in Halifax, West Yorkshire) is an English women's field hockey forward, who has competed at both national and international level, representing both England and Great Britain during her career.
Grant made her debut for England against Ireland in Belfast, Northern Ireland on 16 June 2001 and went on to make 105 appearances, scoring a total of 30 goals before her final game against Germany at the World Cup in Madrid, Spain on 8 October 2006. Her first appearance for the British team was against South Africa in Potchefstroom on 17 May 2003, where she scored both goals in a match which was a 2–2 draw for the United Kingdom. Her last appearance for the UK was also against South Africa at Stellenbosch on 10 January 2007, although this time the team lost 3–1. By this time Grant had accumulated 11 caps and four goals for Great Britain. She has played in two World Cups (2002 and 2006) and two European Cups (2003 and 2005). Grant was England's top goalscorer at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, the 2002 World Cup in Australia and the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. [1]
Nationally, Grant scored a total of 68 goals in the Women's England Hockey League, and spent two seasons at HC Rotterdam where she scored 18 goals and was crowned top goalscorer for the First XI in her second season. [1]
In 2008, she announced her retirement from hockey due to an ongoing knee injury sustained in 1997. [2]
Kelly Jayne Smith is an English former football forward who spent three spells with FA WSL club Arsenal Ladies. After moving to the United States, Smith broke records with Seton Hall University then played professionally with Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA) franchise Philadelphia Charge. After returning to Arsenal for a period which included a 2007 UEFA Women's Cup win, Smith was tempted back to America with another professional contract, this time with Boston Breakers in Women's Professional Soccer (WPS). She accumulated 117 caps for the England national team after making her debut in 1995. Despite being hit by serious injury during her career, Smith is England's second-highest goalscorer with 46 goals. She played for Great Britain at the 2012 London Olympics.
Katherine Helen Sciver-Brunt is an English former cricketer who played as a right-arm fast bowler and right-handed lower-order batter. She played for England between 2004 and 2023, appearing in 14 Test matches, 141 One Day Internationals and 112 Twenty20 Internationals. She won two World Cups and one T20 World Cup, and was named England women's Cricketer of the Year four times. She played domestic cricket for Yorkshire, Yorkshire Diamonds, Northern Diamonds, Trent Rockets, Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Stars.

She won three CIS Championship titles with UBC Thunderbirds in 2001, 2003 and 2004. She also played for Ulster Elks in the Women's Irish Hockey League and helped them win the 2014–15 Irish Senior Cup.
Alexandra Virina Scott is an English sports presenter, pundit, and former professional footballer who mostly played as a right-back for Arsenal in the FA WSL. She made 140 appearances for the England national team and represented Great Britain at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

She is also one of the leading indoor hockey players in the UK.
Mamta Kharab is an Indian former field hockey player, who represented the India women's national field hockey team. She also served as the captain of the Indian women's hockey team. During the 2002 Commonwealth Games, she scored the winning goal which gave India the Gold. She also served as the model for the character of Komal Chautala in the 2007 Bollywood hit, Chak De India. Now she is working in Haryana police as a Deputy Superintendent of Police. She is a recipient of the Arjuna Award.

She represented South Africa at the 2002 Women's Hockey World Cup and at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Her husband, Craig Fulton, and her brother-in-law, Grant Fulton, were both South Africa men's field hockey internationals. In 2004 Fulton and her husband became the first married couple to represent South Africa at the same Olympic Games.

Ellie Watton is a retired English international field hockey player who played as a forward for England and Great Britain. She made her first international appearance against South Africa on 4 February 2013. She retired from international hockey after competing in the 2018 FIH World Cup in London and has now resumed her teaching career, taking up a position at Rugby School in August 2018. She continues to coach and inspire the next generation of young hockey players
