Camilla Gottschalck is a Danish composer, singer, and musician.

She has a musical education as a singer and musician (drums, piano). Camilla Gottschalck has also many years of experience as a composer. She has been a lead singer in several soul/pop/acoustic bands, a member of various choirs and she is often hired as a backing singer on studio recordings. She has worked with many internationally known producers, songwriters and musicians throughout the past years. [1]

Composer

Camilla Gottschalck has written songs for many international artists. Amongst them is Hera Björk, with whom she co-wrote Heras winning song "Because You Can" in Vina Del Mar 2013. [2] [3] [4] during the years she has worked with artists such as Icelandic Erna Hrönn, [5] the Swedish group Titanix [6] and DQ. [7]

In ESC 2013 she has co-written songs like "Fool In Love" performed by Dāvids Kalandija and Dināra in the Latvian national final and in Moldova, Svetlana Bogdanova performed the song "Conquer My Heart" in the first semifinal. [8] In 2012 she had the song "Run" with Eva Boto, in the Slovenian preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest. And back in 2011 Camilla had her ESC Debut by participating in the Irish preselection with the song "Falling" performed by Nikki Kavanagh. [9] Later that same year, with two songs in the Spanish preselection for Eurovision Song Contest, "Sueños rotos" [10] performed by Melissa Canta and the song "Volver" [11] performed by Auryn. This last song was also on Auryns award-winning album, "Endless Road, 7058". [12]
Previously she performed in the Irish Eurovision preselection "Et Cetera (song)", 2009 as a backing vocalist, as well as in the Danish Eurovision preselection on stage with Hera Björk and the song "Someday", 2009.
She is also a member and vocalist of the jazz pop project Technicoloured Roses. [13] Together with Christina Schilling [14] she is the owner of Pixieland Productions. [15]

Actress

Educated in Meisner technique at skuespillerskolen ophelia in Copenhagen, the only professional actors academy in Europe with a foundation in Meisner Technique. [16]
Camilla Gottschalck has for instance worked with and is trained by Sarah Boberg, Pia Bovin, Lane Lind, Jesper Lohmann, Ken Vedsegaard, Inge Dinesen, Finn Hesselager, Mei Oulund, Bronwen Loshak and Peter Dupont Weiss. [17]
Her work as an actress include roles in theatre plays, films and radio theatre plays and also worked with dubbing and speaks[ citation needed ]. Furthermore, Camilla Gottschalck has an extensive experience as an author and actress in interactive theatre for clients such as DSB, Rehfeld and Slots- og Ejendomsstyrelsen. [18]

The song, "It's for You", was performed by the 1993 Eurovision winning singer Niamh Kavanagh. He also later wrote the 2014 Irish entry "Heartbeat" sung by Can-linn.

Iceland participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "Je ne sais quoi", written by Örlygur Smári and Hera Björk and performed by Björk. The Icelandic entry for the 2010 contest in Oslo, Norway was selected through the national final Söngvakeppni Sjónvarpsins2010, organised by the Icelandic broadcaster Ríkisútvarpið (RÚV). The selection process consisted of three semi-finals and a final, held on 9 January, 16 January, 23 January and 6 February 2010, respectively. Five songs competed in each semi-final with the top two as selected by a public televote advancing to the final. In the final, "Je ne sais quoi" performed by Björk emerged as the winner exclusively through public televoting. Promotional activities for the entry included the release of a music video and album and performances of the song in Norway and at the UKeurovision Preview Party in London.

Christina Schilling is a Danish songwriter, singer and musician. She has written songs for artists in Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Ireland, Spain, Slovenia, Latvia, Lithuania and South Africa, and is part of the songwriting team Pixieland Productions. Schilling is a member, songwriter and vocalist of the jazz pop project Technicoloured Roses.

The performance took place in the first semi-final on 25 May and was performed again in the final, four days later. The song is performed in English with some phrases in French. "Je ne sais quoi" was the winner of the Söngvakeppni Sjónvarpsins 2010 contest, organised by Icelandic broadcaster Ríkisútvarpið (RÚV) to select the Icelandic entry for the contest. Despite being one of the early favorites and the fans' favorite to win the contest and finishing 3rd with 123 points in the semi-final, the song ended up finishing 19th with 41 points.

The song was performed by María Ólafs. The Icelandic entry for the 2015 contest in Vienna, Austria was selected through the national final Söngvakeppnin 2015, organised by the Icelandic broadcaster Ríkisútvarpið (RÚV). The selection consisted of two semi-finals and a final, held on 31 January, 7 February and 14 February 2015, respectively. Six songs competed in each semi-final with the top three as selected by a public televote alongside a jury wildcard advancing to the final. In the final, the winner was selected over two rounds of voting: the first involved a 50/50 combination of jury voting and public televoting, which reduced the seven competing entries to two superfinalists and the second round selected the winner exclusively through public televoting. "Unbroken" performed by María Ólafs emerged as the winner after gaining 55.89% of the public vote.

Antonio Juan Sánchez-Ohlsson Vega, better known as Tony Sánchez-Ohlsson, is a Spanish music producer and songwriter.

Georgios Kalpakidis, also known as George Kalpakidis, Gorgi or GK, is a Greek songwriter, former journalist, radio & TV host, best known for having composed the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest entry for Moldova, "Stay" by Anna Odobescu. He started his radio work at the age of 13 and continued his career in the media field until 2015. He made his television debut as a host on Europe One channel, with a show called "Join Me" and also started appearing as a guest host in several projects over the next few years, on other local stations. His breakthrough came in middle 2006, when a new contract brought him to one of the biggest national networks, Macedonia TV. It was during the Eurovision 2006 period in Athens, where he was given the task to cover the event and report daily on live TV. His "ESC '2006" special, entitled "Hard Rock Hallelujah", was noted as one of the shows with the highest ratings of the year.

Moldova originally planned to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the song "Prison" written by Dimitris Kontopoulos, Philipp Kirkorov and Sharon Vaughn. The song was performed by Natalia Gordienko. Songwriter Philipp Kirkorov represented Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest 1995 with the song "Kolybelnaya dlya vulkana" where he placed seventeenth, while Natalia Gordienko had previously represented Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 together with Arsenium and Connect-R, placing twentieth with the song "Loca". The Moldovan broadcaster TeleRadio-Moldova (TRM) organised the national final Finala națională 2020 in order to select the Moldovan entry for the 2020 contest in Rotterdam, Netherlands. 34 entries competed to represent Moldova in Rotterdam, with 20 being shortlisted to participate in the televised national final which took place on 29 February 2020 after auditioning in front of a jury panel. "Prison" performed by Natalia Gordienko emerged as the winner after gaining the most points following the combination of votes from a jury panel and a public televote.
