Camilla Weitzel (born 11 June 2000 Hamburg) is a German volleyball player. She plays as a middle blocker for the Germany women's national volleyball team. [1] [2]
In 2013 she moved to Dresden to train in the youth program of Olympia Dresden. She made her league debut on 28 October 2017, and also won the German Cup during that season. In 2021, she moved to the Italian league, with Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri, [3] [4] [5] [6] where she won the 2022 Western European Volleyball Zonal Association Cup, and 2022-2023 Challenge Cup. [7]
She competed at the 2016 European U19 Championship, [8] 2019 Women's European Volleyball Championship, 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, 2021 Women's European Volleyball Championship, 2021 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, [9] 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship. Jordan Quinn Larson is an American professional volleyball player who plays as an outside hitter for the United States women's national volleyball team. A four-time Olympian, Larson earned the USA its first-ever gold in women's volleyball at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She also has two silver medals from the 2012 and 2024 Summer Olympics and a bronze medal from the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Tijana Bošković is a Serbian professional volleyball player. A left-handed opposite, she has won gold medals with the Serbia women's national volleyball team at the 2018 and 2022 World Championships and the 2017 and 2019 European Championships. She is also a two-time Olympic medalist, having won silver at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and bronze at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
Gabriela Braga Guimarães, also known by her nickname Gabi, is a Brazilian professional indoor volleyball player. She plays as an outside hitter. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics and 2024 Summer Olympics, winning a silver medal in Tokyo and a bronze medal in Paris.
Francesca Ferretti is an Italian professional volleyball player who plays as a setter. As a member of the Italy women's national volleyball team she played in many international competitions and is a World Cup and European Championship winner. The FIVB Men's Volleyball Club World Championship is an international men's club volleyball competition organised by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1989 in Italy. It was not held between 1993 and 2008, but since 2009, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar and Brazil except in 2017 and 2018 where both hosted by Poland.
The FIVB Women's Volleyball Club World Championship is an international women's club volleyball competition organised by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1991 in Brazil. It was not held between 1995 and 2009, but since 2010, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar, Switzerland, the Philippines, Japan, China and Turkey. The competition was held in Zhejiang Province of China in 2018 and 2019. After the 2020 championship was cancelled due to corona virus pandemic, the competition was held in Turkey in 2021.
