In May 2023, it was announced that Roadside Attractions acquired U.S. distribution rights to the film. [2] Camp Hideout was released in theaters on September 15, 2023. [2] [4]

Critical response

On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes , 40% of five critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 4.8/10. [5]
