Campbell County was a county of the U.S. state of Georgia from 1828 to 1931. It was created by the state legislature on December 20, 1828, from land taken from Fayette, Coweta, and Carroll counties, and from the half of DeKalb County which became Fulton County soon afterward. Georgia's Cherokee Land Lottery of 1832 also added to the county. The county was named for Duncan G. Campbell, one of the U.S. commissioners responsible for the Treaty of Indian Springs.

Campbellton is an unincorporated town in southwestern Fulton County, Georgia. It was the original county seat for Campbell County, Georgia until after it refused to allow the Atlanta & West Point Railroad line though, on account of the anticipated noise. The county seat and business activity shifted to nearby Fairburn which grew, and Campbellton's population dwindled. Campbell County then became part of Fulton in 1932.

She was one of a small number of U-boats fitted with Hellmuth Walter's high test peroxide propulsion system, which offered a combination of air-independent propulsion and high submerged speeds. She spent the war as a trials vessel and was scuttled on 4 May 1945 in the Audorfer See, near Rendsburg.
Campbellton is an unincorporated community in northern Franklin County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community lies on Missouri Route 185 between Lyon to the southwest and Dundee to the northeast. Campbellton School is approximately 1.5 miles northeast on Route 185. Boeuf Creek drains the area to the north and the small stream, Slaughter Branch, flows past the village to the south.
