Can't Slow Down is the debut album by American rock band Saves the Day, released on August 11, 1998, by Equal Vision Records. The band formed in late 1997. [5]
The album was produced by Steve Evetts [6] purely because Evetts had previously worked with Lifetime – a band vocalist Chris Conley loved. [7] It was recorded during the winter break of Conley's senior year of high school, [8] and released after the band graduated from high school. [7] This album was the bass guitar player Sean McGrath's only recording with Saves the Day. (He is also responsible for changing the band's name from Sefler to Saves the Day.)
Unlike their later releases, this album has a melodic hardcore sound, [1] sharing the same sound of other bands like 7 Seconds and Lifetime. [3]
Saves the Day went on their first full tour of U.S. with Bane. [7] Can't Slow Down was released by Equal Vision Records on August 11, 1998. [9] McGrath came up with the title of the album, taking it from the Lionel Richie album of the same name. [10] The album sold 8,000 copies by the time Through Being Cool (1999) was released. [7]
"Three Miles Down" inspired the band to record I'm Sorry I'm Leaving after a fan who was also an employee at Equal Vision suggested that they make an acoustic EP after hearing the song.

All is an American punk rock band originally from Los Angeles, currently based in Fort Collins, Colorado. The group was formed by three members of Descendents.
Meltdown is the fourth studio album to be recorded by the Northern Irish rock band Ash. The album was released on 17 May 2004 through Infectious Records and Home Grown. Following the success of their third studio album Free All Angels (2001), Ash debuted several new songs while touring throughout 2003. By October that year, they had travelled to Los Angeles, California, to record a follow-up album, which was co-produced by Nick Raskulinecz and the band. Recording sessions were held at Sound City Studios in Van Nuys and at Chalice Studios, Hollywood. Meltdown, which is described as a hard rock album, drew comparisons to the work of The Smashing Pumpkins and critics said the guitar work resembles that of Black Sabbath and Metallica.

The label signed Senses Fail; it had a distribution deal with MCA Records, which allowed them to acquire acts from Drive-Thru. Recording for the band's debut occurred at several studios in New Jersey in April 2003 with producer Steve Evetts. Additional recording took place at the end of the year. Described as an emo and screamo record, several of the songs on Let It Enfold You were influenced by poetry and literature.

The songs on Through Being Cool were written while the band members attended New York University. The album was recorded in 11 days and represented the band's transition from a melodic hardcore sound to a more pop punk style. It was produced by Steve Evetts at Trax East Recording Studio in South River, New Jersey. The band's members dropped out of college to tour alongside Snapcase, New Found Glory, Hot Water Music, and Face to Face, among others. A music video was filmed for the song "Shoulder to the Wheel."
