A digital single-lens reflex camera is a digital camera that combines the optics and mechanisms of a single-lens reflex camera with a solid-state image sensor and digitally records the images from the sensor.

It offers both HDTV movie capture, as well as 10× stabilized zoom and 7.1 megapixel sensor. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 series is a high-end compact camera part of the wider Sony RX series. It started with the DSC-RX100, announced on 6 June 2012, and is part of the Cyber-shot RX line of digital cameras made by Sony. Seven annual generations have been released so far until 2019, all equipped with a one-inch 20-Megapixel image sensor and rotary knob around the lens. Filming at up to 1080p at 60fps is supported by the first three generations, the third additionally with 720p at 120fps, and up to 2160p (4K) at 30fps and 1080p at 120fps high frame rate video since the fourth.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000 is a digital superzoom bridge camera by Panasonic. It went on sale in June 2014. It has a 20 megapixel 3:2 BSI-CMOS sensor and Leica-branded 25–400 mm equivalent focal length lens with a maximum aperture of f/2.8 to f/4. It has a 1-inch CMOS sensor and supports ISO film speeds from 80 to 25600, shutter speeds from 1/16000 s to 60 s and RAW capture, while the lowest physical shutter speed is 1/4000 s. The unit is equipped with five "Fn" function buttons which can be allocated to custom shortcuts.
The Fujifilm FinePix HS50EXR is a DSLR styled ultra-zoom bridge camera announced by Fujifilm on January 7, 2013. It is the last model of the Fujifilm FinePix HS series. At the time of its release, it competed most closely with the Canon PowerShot SX50 HS, another ultra-zoom bridge camera with raw capability. The SX50 has 20% longer maximum effective focal length, but the HS50 has 33% more resolution on the sensor.
The Canon EOS 5DS and EOS 5DS R are two closely related digital SLR cameras announced by Canon on February 6, 2015. Both are professional full-frame cameras with 50.3-megapixel sensors, the highest of any full-frame camera at the time of announcement. The only difference between the two models is that the sensor of the "R" version includes an optical filter that cancels out the effects of a standard optical low-pass filter. This distinction is roughly similar to that between Nikon's now-replaced D800 and D800E. In addition to the standard black model, 5000 units of a limited edition gold model were sold in Japan to commemorate the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
