Canyon Gate Country Club is a golf club to the west of Las Vegas, Nevada. The 6742 yard course was established in 1989, and was designed by Ted Robinson. [1] It hosted the Las Vegas LPGA in 1993. The club also has amenities for tennis, swimming and fitness. The men's card room and bar were designed by Chris Consultants. [2]

California Wash is an arroyo tributary to the Muddy River, in Clark County, Nevada. Its mouth is at its confluence with the Muddy River over a mile southwest of Moapa and a mile and a half west of Glendale, Nevada. Its source is at an elevation of 3320 feet at the southwestern end of the Muddy Mountains, at 36°17′14″N114°48′09″W. From there it drains northeastward to its mouth on the Muddy River.
Aliante is a master-planned community located in North Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2001, American Nevada Corporation and Del Webb Corporation formed North Valley Enterprises, which purchased 1,900 acres (770 ha) of land in the city and began construction of the community a year later, with the opening held in May 2003. Aliante is located in the city's northwestern area.
The CJ Cup was a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour. The tournament was played for the first time in October 2017 at the start of the 2017–18 season, and was sponsored by CJ Group. The first three editions were played at the Nine Bridges Golf Club on Jeju Island, South Korea. In 2020, the tournament was moved to Shadow Creek Golf Course in North Las Vegas, Nevada as part of a Las Vegas Swing in October due to COVID-19 pandemic travel restrictions. In 2021, plans to return to South Korea were abandoned with the tournament remaining in the Las Vegas area, but moving to The Summit Club in Summerlin. For 2022, the event was held at Congaree Golf Club in Gillisonville, South Carolina, near Hilton Head Island.
Rhodes Ranch is a master-planned community and golf course located in Spring Valley, Nevada, approximately six miles southwest of the Las Vegas Strip. It was developed by Jim Rhodes. The community was announced in 1996, after Rhodes gained 1,330 acres (540 ha), some of it through the Bureau of Land Management. At the time, much of the surrounding area was rural, and nearby residents opposed the development of the land. Despite the opposition, the Rhodes Ranch project was approved and began construction.
