Caprabo

Caprabo is a leading supermarket company in Spain and Andorra, with supermarkets and hypermarkets in Mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands, as well as internationally in Andorra. It operates an online shopping and delivery service in Spain.

It has a history of 45 years of trading and has a turnover of 1.671 million euros in 2008.

Caprabo was acquired by Eroski in 2007. [1]

Eroski is a Spanish supermarket chain with nearly 1,000 outlets spread across Spain . It is run as a worker-consumer hybrid co-operative within the Mondragón Corporation group. The establishments vary in size from the largest hypermarkets, simply named 'Eroski', down to smaller 'Eroski Center' stores. There are also 219 'Eroski City' outlets and 234 'Eroski Viajes' travel agent centres. The group's total sales floor space is approximately 1,500,000 square metres (16,145,866 sq ft). The name Eroski is a combination of the Basque words "erosi" and "toki" (place).
