Cardfight!! Vanguard G: Z is the fifth and final season of Cardfight!! Vanguard G and the ninth season overall in the Cardfight!! Vanguard series and the final chapter of The TRY 3 Saga. It began airing in Japan on October 8, 2017.
A group of six units from Planet Cray, called the "Apostles", have invaded Earth. Armed with the power of the six Zeroth Dragons, the Apostles aim to revive the sealed Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze who attempted to destroy Cray in the past. The final battle between the Vanguards and the Dragon Deity of Destruction begins. In order for Gyze to move freely on earth, The Apostles target Chrono, because of him being the singularity point for Gear Chronicle. Team Try 3 must reunite and master the power of Dimensional Overstride, or lose those they care about to the Dragon Deity of Destruction.

The 52 episodes were released to the Japanese website AbemaTV from May 5, 2018 to May 4, 2019 at 9.00pm JST on Saturdays, and were then broadcast on the TV station Tokyo MX at 10.30pm JST on the same night. The episodes are also uploaded simultaneously with English subtitles through the official YouTube channel and Crunchyroll.
Cardfight!! Vanguard Prime: Shinemon is a 2019 anime television series in the Cardfight!! Vanguard franchise that continues the reboot storyline of the Prime series, roughly based on the Cardfight!! Vanguard manga by Akira Ito. The "Shinemon Arc" is an anime-exclusive storyline based around the events ten years prior to the whole storyline, as well Card Capital's beginnings. Despite the arc being anime-exclusive, it is considered to be the fourth arc of the Cardfight!! Vanguard, and not a new season.
