Carl-Erik Skårman (born 1939) is a Swedish politician who served as a member of the Riksdag for Stockholm County from 1998 to 2002 and 2004 to 2006. [1] He is affiliated with the Moderate Party. From 1989 to 1994, Skårman was a member of the city council of Stockholm.
After having left the Riksdag and Stockholm, he has been active in local politics in Falköping since 2006.

He was chairman of the Moderate Youth League, the youth wing of the Moderate Party, from 2004 to 2006.

She currently takes up seat number 244 in the Riksdag. She was a member of the Justice Committee from her entry in the Riksdag until February 2019. She held the post of Mayor of Stockholm between 2006–2008, being the city's second female mayor. She also served as deputy chairman of the party from 2003 to 2009, when she was replaced by Beatrice Ask.

The Coup of 1756 was an attempted coup d'état planned by Queen Louisa Ulrika of Sweden to abolish the rule of the Riksdag of the Estates and reinstate absolute monarchy in Sweden. The attempted coup was exposed and subdued in 1756 shortly before it was due to be put in action. It caused a rift between the royal house and the parliament.
