Carl Doherty (born 12 July 1975, in New Zealand) is a former professional rugby league footballer. His position of preference was Fullback.
A Glenora Bears junior, in 1999 he shot to prominence when he was called up from the local Auckland scene by the Auckland Warriors. [1] He played five games for the club in the National Rugby League during the 1999 season. He was one of several options trialled by the Warriors as they searched for a replacement for the injured Matthew Ridge. However, despite being one of the more successful replacements, he was not re-signed by the club for the 2000 season and instead joined the Mt Albert Lions in the new Bartercard Cup competition. [2]
In 2002 he competed in the New Zealand Marist Brothers Spillane rugby union tournament for the North Harbour side and was named in the team of the tournament. [3]
Clinton James Te-Whata Toopi is a New Zealand former professional rugby league and rugby union footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s. A New Zealand international representative centre, he played his club football in the National Rugby League for the New Zealand Warriors and the Gold Coast Titans, and in the Super League for the Leeds Rhinos. Clinton began coaching the Helensvale Hornets in 2021 and guided them to victory in the 2022 Gold Coast A Grade Competition.
Jerome Ropati is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer who played his entire career for the New Zealand Warriors in the NRL. Ropati also represented New Zealand, and was a member of the World Cup-winning team in 2008. He played as a centre, and occasionally as a fullback and five-eighth.
Nigel Faletoese Vagana, also known by the nicknames of "Pablo", and "Chiko", is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s, as a wing, centre and five-eighth. A New Zealand and Samoa international representative, he retired as the Kiwis' all-time top try-scorer with 19. Vagana played club football in New Zealand for the Warriors, in England for Warrington, and in Australia for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks and the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Vagana represented the New Zealand national team 32 times between 1998 and 2006, including playing in the 2000 World Cup. He is also the cousin of Bradford Bulls prop-forward Joe Vagana, and former Silver Ferns netball player Linda Vagana.
Joseph Sonny Vagana, also known by the nickname of "Big Joe", is a former professional rugby league footballer who played as a Prop forward in the 1990s and 2000s. During his career Vagana played for the Auckland Warriors, and the Bradford Bulls, and also represented both Samoa and New Zealand in international competition.
The Auckland Rugby League (ARL) is the governing body for the sport of rugby league in the Auckland Region of New Zealand. It is responsible for rugby league in the region, including both club and school rugby league. It began in 1910 when the first season of club league in Auckland occurred. The first match was a practice game between Newton Rangers and Ponsonby United at Victoria Park which Ponsonby won 17 to 15. The first full club season was in 1910.
Sean "Shoppe" Edward Hoppe is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer who represented New Zealand.

Richard John Ackland is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1970s and 1980s, coach in the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s, and scout in the 2000s, and former cricketer in the 1980s, who works for the New Zealand Warriors in the National Rugby League. He represented New Zealand in 1983. His late uncle, Ron, also played for New Zealand.

He coached at representative level for the Cook Islands at the 2000 World Cup and New Zealand to victory in the 2008 Women's Rugby League World Cup, and at club level for Marist Saints, Counties Manukau and Whitehaven.
