On 4 July 2019, he returned to Teramo after one season away, signing a 2-year contract. [1]

On 16 July 2021, he signed a two-year contract with Cesena. [2]

On 12 July 2022, Ilari moved to Lecco on a two-year contract. [3] On 27 August 2023, Ilari joined Lumezzane on loan with an option to buy. [4]
