The film was selected as the Danish entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards, but it was not nominated. The film won the 2019 Nordic Council Film Prize.
Another Round is a 2020 black comedy-drama film directed by Thomas Vinterberg, from a screenplay by Vinterberg and Tobias Lindholm. An international co-production between Denmark, the Netherlands, and Sweden, the film stars Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Bo Larsen, Magnus Millang, and Lars Ranthe.
Ísold Uggadóttir is an Icelandic film director and screenwriter. She is known for her feature film debut in And Breathe Normally, for which she won the World Cinema Dramatic Directing Award at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival.
