At the ARIA Music Awards of 2012, the album won the ARIA Award for Best Blues and Roots Album. [1]

Mickey Rennie from Beat Magazine said "This is a great road trip album. You could leave in the morning with your tail between your legs, and arrive at your destination, with clarity of mind and a few problems solved." [2]

"Walkin' After Midnight" is a song written by Alan Block and Donn Hecht and recorded by American country music artist Patsy Cline. The song was originally given to pop singer Kay Starr; however, her label rejected it. The song was left unused until Hecht rediscovered it when writing for Four Star Records. One Night of Sin is the twelfth studio album by English singer Joe Cocker, released by Capitol Records in June 1989. It contains the hit single "When The Night Comes", which was Cocker's last US Top 40 hit. The song is also notable because it was written by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance. In addition, the former plays rhythm guitar on the song. Other notable songs on the album include a cover of "One Night", a #1 hit by Elvis Presley from 1958, and "I'm Your Man" by Leonard Cohen. There were no live performances and the awards were not televised.

There were live performances but the awards were not televised and the ceremony was noted for its three-hours plus length with Gary Morris, manager of Midnight Oil providing a 20-minute acceptance speech.

Version of the Truth is the third album released the American country music duo Foster & Lloyd. Despite it charting higher (#40) than their previous album, Faster & Llouder (#44), Its singles were less successful. Don’t Let the Good Times Fool You is the 14th album by American country singer Melba Montgomery. In the 1970s, Montgomery was a successful solo artist in her own right. Her best-known solo hit is the No. 1 hit, "No Charge". The single "Don't Let the Good Times Fool You" reached the top 15 in 1975, the only top 40 hit from the album. Subsequent singles also released from the album, "Searchin' " and "Your Pretty Roses Come too Late" did not bring much success.
