Carrousel is the fourth album by Enanitos Verdes, released in 1988. The production of the disc was again headed by Andres Calamaro. It featured three new hit songs, "Guitarras blancas", "No me veras", and "Soy un perdedor".
Vicente Amigo Girol is a Spanish flamenco composer and guitarist, born in Guadalcanal near Seville. He has played as an accompanying guitarist on recordings by flamenco singers Camarón de la Isla, and Luis de Córdoba, and he has acted as a producer for Remedios Amaya and José Mercé. His album Ciudad de las Ideas won the 2001 Latin Grammy for the Best Flamenco Album and the 2002 Ondas award for the best Flamenco work.

The Carmañola Americana is a revolutionary song composed circa 1797 following the model of the French Carmagnole. In context, it was composed during the independentist movement of Manuel Gual and José María España. Tracción Acústica is the tenth album of Enanitos Verdes released on January 27, 1998. Tracción Acústica is a compilation of their greatest hit songs recorded live in high acoustic quality. It includes a tribute to the legendary Mexican rock band El Tri, performing their classic theme "Metro Balderas". The album also contains two unreleased tracks: "El Guerrero" and "Fiesta Jurásica". It received a nomination for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album at the 41st Annual Grammy Awards, becoming the group's first nomination at the ceremony.
