Casa do Pessoal do Porto do Lobito or simply known as CPPL is an Angolan multisports club based in Lobito, Benguela. The club's handball team competes at the domestic level, at the Benguela Provincial Handball Championship and at the Angola Women's Handball League. [1]
The club is named after its major sponsor, the Lobito Harbour.

The Angolan football Cup is the main "knockout" cup competition in Angolan football.
Clube Desportivo 1º de Agosto is a multisports club from Luanda, Angola. The club, founded 1 August 1977, is attached to the Angolan armed forces, which is its sponsor. Its main team competes in men's football, and its professional basketball team is also noteworthy within the club. The club's colors are red and black. The club won its first title in football, the Angolan League, in 1979. and in basketball in 1980. Handball and Volleyball have also won many titles to the club.
Estrela Clube Primeiro de Maio, usually known simply as Primeiro de Maio or 1º de Maio, is a football (soccer) club from Benguela, Angola. The club was the result of a merger from two clubs: Estrela Vermelha de Benguela and Grupo Desportivo 1º de Maio being then named África Têxtil 1º de Maio de Benguela due to its then major sponsor, a Benguela-based textile factory called África Têxtil. Shortly afterwards, the name was changed to its present denomination. In its golden years, in the 1980s, the club has won two Angolan leagues, three Angolan cups and one Angolan supercup (1985). Moreover, Primeiro de Maio became in 1994, the first Angolan club to reach the final of a CAF competition and to win the Angola Cup and the Angola Super Cup.
Girabola, or Campeonato Nacional de Futebol de Séniores Masculinos, is the top division of Angolan football. It is organized by the Angolan Football Federation.
Nair Filipe Pires de Almeida, is a retired Angolan handball player. Almeida began her career in a small handball team called Escola de Andebol da Restinga, do Lobito (EARL). She competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens and at the 2005 World Championship. At the 2007 World Championship Angola finished 7th, while Almeida scored 57 goals and was number six on the list of top scorers. She played for Angola at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
